Large hands
These work great for me. I have fairly large hands but not gigantic. These make it easier for me to grip my 1 inch standard dumbbells.

Great grips!
These make gripping a thin dumbbell much easier. The rubber is of good quality, it makes picking the equipment up much easier, helps make the workout more effective, is designed for easy use...just slip on and off, and is comfy.

There's good and bad, read on... the bad is on me, not the grips.
For the product itself, 5 stars, well built, (it's a rubber mold, how can you mess that up?) LOL but for me, they're hard to use. I have a very wide fist, but smaller fingers. So this is a good and bad thing. The good thing comes from my gym having very narrow handles on their dumbbells which is why I ordered these in the first place. The bad comes from my smaller hands having a harder time holding onto the grips using them. BUT again with the BUT... my forearms are getting a blasting! So I'm back to 5 stars again. My arms are sore all the time (a good sore) as my forearms are getting a workout like never before. I've had to come way down in the weight that I work with, but that's ok too. If I get back to the weights I WAS using while using these, I could take them off and really jump up a few reps in much heavier weights. Seriously, I can cleanly curl 55 pound dumbbells without the grips, and struggle with 35's. So, if you want an awesome forearm workout, AND workout your grip (which my grip is weak too because I've broken both my hands breaking boards and bricks in karate, which shows I did it wrong to begin with) but it's increasing my grip strength as well. Great product,

Game changers
Got them because the grips on some of the machines are too thin which puts a ton of pressure on my palms. Am dealing with a shoulder injury so I have to use more machines than free weights. I use them on push days and they are a game changer. I normally would stop at 220 on a bench machine because of the pressure it pins on my palms. Put on the grips and pushed 250 with ease. For me it feels like they allow your chest to be doing all the work with zero focus on hand pressure.

Decent budget option, but the alternatives are worth the premium
--Preamble--Like many people, I decided to try out some thick bar grips to optimize my current regimen. I too was attracted by the idea of improving my grip and strengthening the whole complex of muscles/tendons/ligaments in my forearms. So I purchased four kinds of wide bar grips - Fat Gripz One (1.75"), Fat Gripz Pro (2.25"), Iron Bull Strength Alpha Grips (2"), and Yes4All Thick Bar Grips (2.2").Before the review, some context:First, you should ease into these things, and so if you aren't accustomed to thick bar grips, I would recommend you start with the Fat Gripz One. I did not do this; I tried to integrate all four into my routine, and as a result I gave myself acute tendonitis in both arms, in the form of Golfer's Elbow. Now I need to take at least 4 weeks off while I heal up, and no one likes that. I don't think this would have been a problem if I just started with the narrower grips and moved up from there.Second, if use a ruler, my hand is 6 5/8" (168mm) from the bend of the wrist to the tip of my middle finger. The Fat Grips One is fine, the Iron Bull Strength grips are about the limit of decent grip, and the Fat Grips Pro are too large to get my hand around, limiting me to fairly light dumbbells. For pull-ups, only the Fat Grips one are comfortable, the Iron Bull's are marginal. I have chronic issues with my TFCC (something I was hoping to help alleviate through these grips) and the thicker ones tend to aggravate that complex.Lastly, I am fairly fit. I am about 183lbs (83.2kg) and was doing sets of 23 pull-ups before this. I could maintain those numbers with the narrower wide grips, but with greater effort. I have my pull-up bar (an Iron Gym) wrapped in racket grip tape, so it is about 1.1" in diameter. Most of my dumbbells have bars that are between 1.1 and 1.25" in diameter.--Product Review--The Yes4All Thick Rubber Grips were probably my least favorite of the four. They are hard, durable, and have a decent profile, but were too wide for my preference and rotated too easily on the bar. Being stiff, install was harder than it needed to be, but not an issue unless you are constantly moving them between dumbbells.---ComfortThe Yess4All grips were not all that uncomfortable, no less so than typical dumbbell grips. They are thick and hard, but that isn't a real issue for me. The seam is larger than I'd like for something like this, but generally speaking when designing the inner diameter of these thick grips you have to err on the narrow side, since too narrow is merely uncomfortable whereas too wide is unusable. They don't fit my IronMaster dumbbells at all, which is expected (the bar on those is 1.25"), but fit my pull-up bar (1.1" diameter) and my CAP dumbbells (~1.1") okay. Maybe a little narrower would be nice. If not that, they could chamfer the seam a bit so it doesn't dig into the hand so much during use.---BenefitVery respectable benefit to using these, you will definitely feel the difference. I had to drop about 30% of my weight, or about the same reps from my sets, to compensate. A diameter of this kind requires a substantial change in grip which results in you "pinching" the dumbbell between your fingers and thumb, you are actively gripping it during the whole movement. Visually obvious benefit after exercise. These rotated the most on my pull-up bar, mostly due to how hard the rubber is. Not really usable for that purpose, as a result.---ConclusionIf you just want a cheap way to give thick bar grips a try, or you already know that this diameter grip is sufficient for you, then maybe it's a good way to go. However, the Fat Gripz are made from a somewhat softer rubber with better grip and a better fit on my dumbbells, and available in a 1.75" diameter for those starting out. The Iron Bull Alpha Grips fit better as well, though they have a different, more curved profile. They are worth the premium, in my opinion. I would recommend those before these.

Yes4All Grips
I bought a pair of Yes4All grips about a year ago from Amazon. I have basically dedicated this set to my bench bar. I am ordering another set for my short Olympic bar that I use for deadlifts, rows, and overhead presses. In my opinion, these grips are great. I have never tried any other brand of grips, and don't feel I need to. Yes4All are extremely durable, but at the same time, flexible enough to squeeze. These Yes4All grips allow me to apply full maximum force without the fear of grip failure on the bar. I feel more comfortable lifting with Yes4All grips rather than just a naked bar. Needless to say, my grip strength has improved since using Yes4All grips.

Great quality for the price.
Fits dumbbell and barbell perfectly, used it rigorously for a month so far without any issues.
