The glass is better than stainless steel. Just make sure to heat it properly. PLEASE READ!
I’m writing this because, one: switching to a glass moka pot has been way easier to use than stainless steel, since now I can actually see what’s happening inside (like in the photo). And two: a lot of the bad reviews here seem to be from people who don’t know how to use it properly. When you put it on the stove, it’s fine to use high heat, but only until it just starts to fill up a little bit (just like in my photo). As soon as you see that, you have to either lower the heat to really low or just turn it off. If you leave the heat high, it will start bubbling and burning, which is not how it’s supposed to work. The flow should be slow, smooth, and steady as the espresso rises into the upper chamber (where the coffee collects). If you like sugar in your coffee, here's my recommendation: put the sugar in a separate cup first. Then, as soon as the moka pot starts flowing espresso (like in the photo), pour just a little bit (you only need a small splash) into the cup with the sugar and mix it up well. It should look sludgy. Then you can put the moka pot back on the stove at super low heat, or even leave it off, since it finishes really quickly. The whole process moves fast, so make sure to keep an eye on it.It should never be violently boiling into the glass. If it is, your heat is too high and you're doing it wrong. It’s meant to be a smooth, steady flow. If you overheat it to where it's boiling into the glass, your espresso will turn out watery, and that's just user error, because when done right, it makes a very rich and smooth espresso every time. All in all, I actually love this moka pot. I've been using it for almost half a year now and no issues with the quality. Being able to see what’s going on inside makes a huge difference and makes it easier. Once you understand how to control the heat and time it right, it works perfectly with amazing and rich espresso.

Super nice quality it looks great
This was a very pleasant surprise. I expected something of lesser quality, but the item that was received was substantial in glass and in metal. It brewed coffee beautifully. I especially like seeing the coffee come up through the siphon. This is not something you would see in a typical aluminum version. Also love, the fact that it is not aluminum that it is stainless steel bottom. The form factor is also very appealing..

A beauty! Excellent quality, fit and finish
Easy to use and clean. Makes superb Moka/Italian coffee. Looks elegant. Sputters at just the right time. Perfect for 2 or 4 espresso-sized drinks. My first moka pot was aluminum. This stainless steel model is superior in every respect.

Terrible product
The media could not be loaded. This moka pot turned out to be a huge disappointment. Despite carefully screwing the top and bottom parts together and tightening them properly, the seal simply doesn’t hold. Water leaks during brewing, making a mess and wasting coffee. To make matters worse, coffee grounds end up in the bottom chamber, and when the water percolates, they flow into the coffee. Thankfully, I didn’t use espresso ground coffee, or I’d be drinking sludge. I tried it three times with different amounts of coffee and double checked my setup each time, but the results were consistently terrible.Another red flag is the material. The inside of bottom chamber doesn’t look like typical stainless steel, it has a grayish/bluish tint, which makes me question if it’s coated. This product screams poor quality, it’s made in China, like most of the poor quality products. It’s going back tomorrow. Don’t waste your time or money on this!

Its OK and its nice looking
Its nice looking but moka pots aren't traditionally cleaned so much as rinsed and occasionally wiped. This one wont look good with 'seasoning' on that glass. It doesn't perc all the water into the pitcher. Its nice looking and it does brew, just not perfectly.

Absolutely love this item! The material is awesome, and I can tell it will last a very long time. The coffee is also strong, which is the BEST part! I highly recommend this product! :)
