A Tool made with Pride
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Tool – Turns Trimming Into a Joy!I've worked in a nursery and have been growing my own fruits, nuts, and veggies since 2003. I can honestly say the STAYGROW trimmer is one of the best hand garden tools I’ve ever used!It cuts through tree wood so smoothly and cleanly—with barely any effort. I don’t know how it creates such amazing leverage, but whatever the secret is, it works beautifully. It arrived the day after I ordered it, and I was out in my food forest until after dark, trimming away with ease. What used to be a tiring, messy, frustrating chore suddenly became fun. The clean cuts made me want to care for every plant that had been waiting far too long for proper pruning. My vines/fruit/nut trees thank you—and so do I!Thank you, STAYGROW, for making a high-quality tool and clearly taking pride in your work. It shows in every cut.

Clean cuts on soft and hard wood.
These little pruners are very effective. They cut through soft (new pine branches) and hard (dead wood on pommaranite tree).I live in Windward Oahu, the rain forest side of Oahu, and this time of year there is a lt of work to do. Tree and weeds can grow 20 feet during the winter rains. I used to pruine with a reciprcating saw, but for smaller jobs I use pruners or a smalll hand saw. Now that I am retired and spending more time in our garden I wanted a good, reliable pruner so I would not have to guess which os the pruners was up to the work of spring clean-up. I ordered a couple of pair of pruners, this one and the #2 rated on Amazon. The other "heavy duty" pruner could not get through 1/2" dead wood on the pomegranite tree. This pruner cut through 3/" cleanly in one cut. It is also smaller and easier to hold, and because of ias' size is more precise (easier to get in between branches).I actually started out to clean up a large basil, deadhead and remove old dried growth. I then turned to a pine tree which was throwing tooo much shade on my vegetable garden,, and was surprised how easy it was to cut back or remove smaller branches (1/2- 3/4"). It's great to have a pruner which is good at both (precise trimming and hard/ soft wood).I have had a lt of prunijng shears over the years and this is definitely one of the best!

WOW!!!
If I could give these 6 stars I would. They are the best hand held pruners I have ever used!! I bought them because I lost my old beloved made in Japan pruners and I needed to replace them. I didn't think anything would be better. I was so wrong! These are incredible! They are sharp (REALLY sharp so be careful). I'm in my 70's and have small arthritic hands and I find these pruners easy to grip and work. They open and close smoothly and easily. The lock works well. They cut through by live and dead wood with very little effort on my part. I cannot say whether or not they will stand the test of time as I got them recently but I like them so much that I ordered a second pair.

Excellent shears. Reliable brand.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We have other shears by the same brand, Saboten, and they are reliable, stays sharp, and fits well in our hands. Have been using them for over 30 years and they are still in excellent shape.

New favorite
Easy to grip and operate without much effort. After a week of cutting back plantings, no discernible difference despite hitting more than one support structure. Clean, clean cuts. Good enough for cutting flowers. Not wild about the locking mechanism, (my Coronas unlock with extra pressure on grips), but the lock is secure.

Excellent Quality at a Fair Price
The blades are very sharp and cut through plant matter like butter. The handle grip is comfortable and are easy to squeeze together to make the cut (nice for those of use with a touch of arthritis).
