Excellent quality camera
I bought this for the back of my truck camper on a 2022 F250. I bought a plug with pigtail that connects to the stock wiring harness and wired this camera to the plug. It works great. It is very wide angle, I can see everything. Many mounting options included. Better than I expected.

I was expecting a better image quality from JVC. It looks like a regular backup camera resolution.

Great quality and versatile mounting options
The JVC KV-CM40U Universal Backup Camera is a fantastic addition to my car. I'm using it as a front camera, and it works great. Hopefully it's really waterproof like it says it is.I had to figure a way to mount it in front without drilling into anything. The mounting kit offers great flexibility, allowing you to install the camera in various positions to suit your needs. I used screws to hold it to one of the front grills.The image quality is great. This camera along with the original backup camera has significantly improved my parking capabilities, giving me the confidence to maneuver in tight spaces.

Works Great
This is a very affordable Universal Backup Camera with Front, Side & Rear View Cameras. It has a large vertical and horizontal wide angle. It comes with a four way mounting kit. It is compatible with most all vehicles including RVs. My son installed it in my daughters car. He said installation was easy and he had no issues. He also said it was easy to set it up and to get it going. This little camera actually worked pretty great.the view is very clear and easy to see. My daughter says it is such a great gadget to have and is a big help when backing out. I think this is a must have for all vehicle owners unless your car is already equipped with one.

JVC Car Rearview Camera - My New Parking BFF
Okay, let's be real. Parallel parking? Not my strong suit. Never has been. I probably wouldn't have my licence today if my examiner had decided to require me to do it. I've always been a bit nervous about backing up, especially in those tight spots where you feel like everyone's watching. I just hate it. This camera makes me feel a ton better!You know how sometimes you get intimidated by tech stuff? Well, that was me with the installation. But honestly, it wasn't bad at all. The instructions were actually clear (shocking, I know!), and they included everything I needed. I even managed to do it myself in like, under an hour. YouTube was my best friend for a few minutes there, but hey, we got it done!The 170-degree view this thing gives you is awesome! I can see everything behind me, no more blind spots. And the picture is so clear, even when it's getting dark out. Plus, it turns on automatically when I put the car in reverse - so there is no fumbling around with buttons.Honestly, I don't know why I waited so long to get a rearview camera. It's made driving so much less stressful, especially when it comes to parking. I feel way more confident now, and that's worth its weight in gold. Plus, I'm bit nearly as afraid when my son wants to take the car.I seriously can't recommend this JVC camera enough!
