LOVE LOVE!! I give my size and leave a description of pants-it is hard to see in pictures! LOVE!!!!!
These fit BETTER than I expected!I have been wanting AUTHENTIC Churidar pants since my niece came back from India and that is all she wears now- these are as authentic as I can get- she, my niece, had a village gal make hers in less than 15 minutes for!.. Anyways..*I am 5'7" wear a size 10-12, 158 lbs. and these fit me so great.!*The length is perfect-right at my ankle- not to short.*The color is what I am calling a light gold. I am very happy about that.*If you can not get a grasp on how these look because the pictures do not show you the waist... there is 6" of flat fabric starting at the waist and going into the crotch area. THEN the material is pleated in the front with two inverted pleats at the very back, giving you look of FOLDED NOT gathered pants. THESE do not resemble 'MC HAMMER' pants. Those pants are gathered at the waist- these are pleated BELOW the waist, at the hips.*There is a tie at the waist that is adjustable.*They are ALL lightweight cotton, not see through, for this color.*I am ordering more and living in these during the warmer months..THESE ARE DARLING ON!They took about three weeks to arrive from India.

What happened to the quality and sizing?
I ordered a pair of these last year and they were beautiful, nice quality and sized properly. I ordered four more pair the same size in different colors in April and they just arrived. The quality is gone. This pair arrived with the drawstring actually sewn to the garment! I got a color I didn't want, the green ones were missing, and two of the pairs are so small I can't even wear them. I know they are inexpensive, but come on. Not one pair fit correctly. You can see the sizing discrepancy in the photo. Really disappointing. It would probably cost me more to send them back to India than I paid for them, so I'm feeling a little ripped off. Be careful ordering from this company

Nicely made and comfortable
These pants are extremely well constructed of a lightweight fabric that is perfect for hot and humid weather. The drawstring waist adds to comfort. Upon request, you can get a longer length. Delivery will be delayed for customization, so allow for that. The only mistake I made is not to order them long enough. I'm 5'9" and should have added more than 3" to standard length. Patiala pants should "blouse out" at the ankles. Mine are okay with flip-flops in that the skim the top of the foot, but I'll request extra inches with the next pair. Can't really blame the seller - they did what I asked.

Don't buy from THIS vendor
My pants arrived with the drawstring folded up separately... and the waistline already sewed shut so it can't be installed. Anyone who loves these pants knows they can't be worn without the drawstring. No quality control here. I also bought leggings from the same vendor and the drawstring wasn't installed on those either.

Beautiful but sheer.
Craftsmanship is excellent. However, be aware this is intended to be worn under a long tunic so the fabric is quite sheer, especially in white. It would be nice if there were a choice for a heavier fabric so that it could be worn alone as the pants are quite beautiful.

Lightweight, cool, looks lovely - good buy.
I wanted some patialas before my arrival in India and I was promised I would receive these in time ( it was a litle last minute on my part). The seller came through with request to send these ASAP so I would receive these before I left and to send a length of 41 inches. The seller came through on both. The material is very cool and feels nice against my skin. A good buy.

Great comfy pants.
Love these pants. They are very comfy. I wrote to the seller and requested the longer length, and they accommodated me. Great pants and reasonable price. I haven't washed them yet, but will wash in cold water and hang them up to dry. Thank you.

Very good for the price
Very good for the price. Fabric is pretty thin (good if you need to stay cool in hot weather.) The construction was a little sloppy but reasonable (these are cheap, after all.) I would buy again. 3x was generous (I wear a 20/22w in US women's.) You may need to replace the drawstring - it's not very durable-looking. I like elastic in these anyway :)

The best Patialas.......used to be!!!!
These Patialas are really good, they are lovely light fine cotton. They are remarkably colour fast, I bought a dark blue, very colour satuated pair and washed them seperately and absolutely no dye came out. Very importantly the pleats all go in towards the center, not just running around the waist and they have the same pleats on the back! Very generous with the material, very stylish. Well...... that was last year. This August I bought 2 new pairs, and what a huge disappointment!!!!! The cotton is very thin and they have hardly any material in the pleats. So, instead of a graceful fullness of material they are just very mean, and obviously made by a different fabricator, although I tried very hard to use the same contacts on Amazon. Not a happy bunny. Feeling a bit disenchanted.

Just a simple shalwar but not for the girls who are sized 18/20
Bit on the small side, it isn't baggy as a patiala shalwar should be.

Beautiful fit and super comfortable.
Ordered the large size based on previous reviews and therefore it fit perfectly. Iām a UK size 8-10 and 5 ft 8. Well stitched. Very pleased.

Size runs a bit large
Pants seem to run a little bit on the larger side. Normally I wear a size medium so I ordered medium, but these seemed to run a size larger. The medium I got, felt like a large size, the length was okay was it was much to baggy for a medium. I will probably order again in a small.
