Great used as a demonstration high power fuse in class
We have hundreds of examples of low power fuses in the college auto shop, but had no high power EV fuses. This HV, high current fuse gives us another example of what is required to scale up low voltage DC components to high power AC and DC components in EVs.

locked in, locked out, hope this is the solution
there are videos and reports online about how tesla ownerscan be locked in, or locked out of their 3 or Y when the 12V batt is low, dead, after about 3 yearssome have even had to have the first responders smash a window to get inand the special latch on the inside of a tesla door handle that you can manually open the doorif you feel underneaththey said to jumper cable the 12V batt under the hoodso hopefully when that time comes, this socket will come in handybut the question is, where do i put it so that it can be accessed when neededfrunk probably won't open without batt powerhmmm

fit the screws it's designed for
Socket feels like other sockets. Heavy and sturdy. They fit in the screws for the Tesla that normally doesn't come with standard socket sets. Great addition to a car guy's toolbox.
