I bought three different styles of bags to be used for day hiking. This was the one my dad picked out of the three. It is very lightweight and yet can store a lot of items. There is one outer zippered pocket, a spacious main zipped compartment with subdivisions inside. The two-way radio and some snacks usually end up in the outer pocket for ease of access, water bottles and sunscreen in the mesh side pockets, first aid kit and more water bottles inside. It can be worn on the back or on the front. While it could be collapsed down to a tiny size as shown in the photos, we usually do not bother for road trips; I can see how that might be advantageous if packing for a flight and limited on space. It has held up well across multiple road trips and day hikes.

I absolutely love this hiking backpack! It's foldable, portable, and super lightweight, making it perfect for all my trips. Despite its compact size, it holds a surprising amount of stuff and has plenty of pockets for organization. I especially appreciate the dedicated space for my water bottle. It's become my go-to for every trip, and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a reliable and convenient backpack.

I got this bag to replace a day hike bag that was almost falling to pieces. I wanted something lightweight, waterproof or very resistant, with two side pockets for a bottle of water and binoculars and space inside for my camera, a light jacket, snacks, tissue, etc and a couple of small zip pockets for incidentals. This bag is perfect for this in every way. It seems to be very well made, the pockets are a perfect size and it is even more water resistant than my old bag. I could tell that even before I hit my first rainy hike by the sound the fabric makes when you scratch it. My camera & belongings stayed dry when it did actually rain. The only point I would pick at is the inside zipper pocket is not very good quality. The teeth split already but when I rezipped it, it was fine. I just anticipate this happening again in the future as I use this bag 5 days a week. Overall, though, I love it and it is perfect for my needs.

Bought this backpack for traveling to Europe and then on a cruise. It was really comfortable and held a lot of stuff. Enough for myself and my kids and water bottles which is what I needed it for. It is lightweight and weather proof. Great price and great product!

Bought this for my 3 granddaughters and me for a trip to a National Park. They worked great, look nice, and kept our load lighter!

This bag was perfect for our Disney trip!! Its super lightweight, holds a bunch of stuff for the size. The adjustable fit was spot on. Very sporty style as well.

I got this bag as a daypack and it was comfortable, held everything I needed to hold, and the massive pocket on the front made things accessible (you could put your phone, notebook, chargers, etc). It barely weighs anything, yet still feels solid and like it won't tear. I carried it inside of my main pack for any side trips. The price is fair for what you get, and I haven't tried the folding into itself feature yet.

I got the 10L in Peacock Blue and the size is great for airline travel and I really like the color. If the packing design were better, I’d give it five stars. I have multiple packable backpacks in different sizes and most are flip the pocket inside out and just stuff the backpack in-easy, peasy. With this one it’s a struggle to get it folded up small and tight enough to squeeze into the pocket. I’m going to keep it since I do like the size and if you’re not concerned with being able to pack it easily, you’ll probably love it.

Just the right size for day hikes, and biking. It is small and compact, well made, lightweight and sturdy too. And just big enough to carry a sweater, picnic lunch, personal items and water bottles.We always pack it in our luggage when we go on vacation, for those daytime excursions. Love it!!

I bought this while travelling to Thailand. It was the perfect size for all our day trips. I was pleasantly surprised on how much it would hold and still be lightweight. It does fold up and store away nicely but I found it took up less space in my suitcase not packed up. I would definitely recommend.
