I mainly use it for listening to media and while I love it's sound quality, ease of use, and overall fit, I was skeptical of its durability initially.I accidentally dropped it over Thanksgiving and didn't find it until after Christmas despite retracing my steps. It has survived an ice storm, 3 individual days of rain, being driven over countless times while embedded in gravel, being snowed on, thawing back out, and after a few days of drying out, IT STILL WORKS FLAWLESSLY!Top tier value for your money, comfortable to wear all day, battery life for MILES, and a comparable range to any other headset. The title says it all.

First, this is a real review, I bought it with my own money and have used it long enough to have an idea of how I like it.Build quality is fine. The buttons and pieces seem well made. The earpiece does fit, but it's like most of them, you just kind of wedge it back there and hope for the best.Audio quality is good. You'll never mistake it for a music headset, but for calls, it's fine. Users on the other end had not issue hearing me, although they did say the sound was a bit thin. I tried a Teams Test call, and they're right, not a lot of bass pickup on this mic. Not bad though, especially for this price.Now we come the only issue I have. this thing fits in that case exactly ONE way. This means that every time you take it off, you have to rotate the ear clip to just the right position before it'll even think about dropping into the case. This is likely going to be the same issue with any of these that have a charger case though. Just an FYI

Purchased as a gift and was concerned as this would be the 5th headset we've tried - each of he others were less than acceptable for various reasons. This unit surprised me that it immediately paired with the Android phone, sound quality in the ear piece is great, mic sound quality is great. Ear piece is extremely comfortable and the unit clings to the ear without feeling like it'll fall off with a quick head turn. When on the ear, it is very comfortable and doesn't pinch or feel heavy after a period of time. The unit turns on immediately on removal from the charging case, turns off on return but can be shut off outside of the case if needed. Over all, a well designed, good quality product - it "feels good", in other words, when you pick it up, the case doesn't creak like its poorly put together - it's solidly built which helps with how it holds on the ear and handles in general.

I have used the Plantronics 5200 for the past 6 - 8 years. Put mine in the washing machine, and poof, needed another Bluetooth. I figured I would save 70 bucks and get this.Functionally, this is a decent replacement. The audio is not quite as pristine. It isn't problematic, but if you are an audiophile you can hear a little bit too much middle frequencies in verbal communication. It isn't problematic, still very clear, but there is a slight tin can effect, Most will not notice it. Still a 9 out of 10 audio.The pairing is stellar, the battery life is stellar, and the charging system is fast. The only thing about charging is that unless I missed something, you have to put the unit in its case to charge it. This is a bit of an issue if you are out and about and the battery dies. However, I have used this for as long as 3 days on a single charge so the case charging has not been an issue.The unit operates from left and right and has easy to find controls.The one problem that I have is that it is uncomfortable for me and has caused pain from rubbing in my ear. The earpiece is soft, the portion that holds the earpiece is a large round block that fits into your ear after the ear piece is inserted. It is really large and protruding. It hurts enough that I ordered another Plantronics 5200. I found this unacceptably uncomfortable and clunky.
