Great little generator for the money
I have lots of generators of all sizes. I've been off-grid for 35 years now and have had many, many generators from high quality to bargain basement. Each fits a niche and at any one time I generally have 4-5 of various sizes and types. This one was bought as a general small portable one for around the ranch and for car camping. It has a small gas tank so it does not do extended runs, but that also helps it have a small size which is what I wanted so it could easily pack in the Jeep. It's reasonably quiet, especially at low load, and its fuel economy is on-par with what I expect out of an inverter-generator of its size, roughly about the same as my Honda. I now have about a hundred hours on it and it has been used in all weather from 100f to 5f and it starts easily and has run without issue.

Returned
I'm sending it back it backfires and keeps saying overloaded, I do not have anything plugged up to it. Really disappointed. Also it's a safety hazard try to return it Amazon said I could not cause some health and safety reasons Amazon has lost a customer.

Nice unit
Added oil, checked spark plug to replace with NGK - not needed as it came with NGK (quality). Added gas and pressed the start button. Started up in about 3 seconds. Also attached to a 40# propane and it started right up and ran well on the propane.Used a breakin oil additive to conventional 10w-30 oil. Ran for 5 hours varying the load. Drained oil and replaced with conventional 10w-30. Wiped off magnetic oil dip stick to remove some of the fine metal from breakin. Will replace oil again at 20 hours with synthetic 10w-30.Have this attached to an EG4 6000XP inverter for backup power in emergencies. Works well. Just wish it had the two wire generator start/stop signal capability so my system is completely automatic.Plumber to add a natural gas pipe next week. Will update if any starting issues.Very happy with the tri fuel capacity and remote start with auto-choke. So quiet compared to my old open frame generator. Makes for happier neighbors.

Electrical security in an emergency
This is perfect for my home needs. I bought it after my area had a 3-day electrical blackout due to snow, and I realized I needed something to keep basic items running. It's light weight enough that I, at age 74, can easily carry it around. It's simple to run and always starts after just a couple pulls. I run it for about an hour once a month just so it's always ready to go in an emergency. I can run the refrigerator, space heater, TV, and computer all at once with power to spare. I totally recommend this as an excellent product.

Initial FIVE Star Rating...
I have only had this a few weeks and there is not another weather event in the forecast that would cause us to go without power like we did with recent Hurricane Beryl. I bought this as a fail safe back up...NOT to run the whole house but to keep the refrigerator/freezer going together with a few fans and lights along with certain electronics. I followed the directions, putting oil in the engine and then gasoline in the tank. I pulled the cord only ONCE and the generator started and ran perfectly. I let it idle (fast) for about 20 minutes and then gave it an electrical load. It works perfectly. Since it does not have a fuel shut-off, I had only used a little over a cup of gasoline so I allowed it to completely run out, thus clearing the carburetor of all gas for longer term storage. It is ready for service and when I've had the opportunity to really put it to the test I will update this review. So far, I am impressed. It is very lightweight, fast starting and quiet (as gasoline engines go).

Broke after 3 uses!
Bought this 9/28/2024 and the 3rd time we used it the pull cord won't retract! Emailed company and haven't received any communication. Very disappointed! Contacted Amazon and they gave me a different email to try. Very frustrating!!! Well it's been a couple weeks and still no response to my email!!!So I've emailed the company contact in California 4 times so far. Still no response. Amazon should not sell these anymore!!!

Good Inverter Generator
Works well. We bought the natural gas conversion along with it to make it a tri-fuel inverter. I wanted an inverter generator to power sensitive equipment on our house's emergency circuits The generator was run for over twenty hours for its break-in, on all three fuels, and then stored. We will be testing the inverter on our emergency panel before much longer, as we bought the power cord to connect it.
