Walnut Innovations Weather Proof Day Night Switch,Light Sensor Switch,Automatic Light Switch

I purchased this product as a replacement for Walnut's normal night/day switch which lasted me about 2 years in the outdoor. I suspect that was the intended life. Firstly, it has a very rugged construction and looks solidly built.It works well . Ive attatched it to my gate lights + other decorative lights outside the home and it gets on & off without any hassle. Its a big headache saver. I suspect this will last me much longer (I had tinkered a lot with the earlier non outdoor switch so cant really complain about it going bad). I must in particular thank the company for helping my half literate electrician install it. One Mr Manohar from Walnut really went out of his way to help my electrician - staying on the line for several minutes at a stretch - to help him install it well. It doesnt take a genius to install it but it does require a changed mindset which my electrician clearly didnt have. Im quite an automation freak and have a number of IoT gadgets as well at home. I travel extensively and also have the choice of buying this from amazon.com. However, I would strongly recommend this bundle of products + service from Walnut. Good to see this in India.

Not even worked for two month's, its not water proof.

This product works for approximately 10 months. I have installed this for our 24W LED street light on 04/04/2017. It went off on 06/02/2018. It has been Continuosly worked during this period without any complaints. Infact i have ordered for another one as substitute on 09/01/2018. Because i want to replace it immediately with the stock piece in hand, if the existing one cease to work. It has happened as per my intuition. Now i am going to order for another one to keep it as a stock.Its such a useful product. If it lasted for till some more time i would've been much satisfied with this product. I don't know whether it is repairable. Overall its a very good and value for the money product.

Have purchased this product 7 times totalling 11 no’s.The failure Rate is quite high and lasts about a year outdoor. The cost of the product is not justified by the savings in electricity cost. Only positive factor is convenience.

Very nice product

Not a durable product. Woks fine for few months only.Purchased two pieces.First one installed outdoor roofed are went off after about six months.Replaced with second pice indoors and works about a year and then off.

This product does not work at all! At normal AC power supply in, it doesn't function. When no power from electricity board and battery power ( 240v) is on in the house, this product come into action !! Put the switch into OFF position and ON again, this does not work.Bring the bulb at the front of the sensor, still .the power doesn't cut off ! Only the design of this product is attractive not the functions.
