When I first opened these up, I was very confused with how they went together, but after toying with them a bit, I figured out that they are very simple! The one end does not have an attachment, so it stays open with the round hole. The other end is for the attachment and you can screw each one on and off to find the perfect size for your downspout. It pops on easily and extends extremely far. The tubing is nice and sturdy, and we have had no issues in heavy rain or wind at all. These are well worth the price point!

Nice options. In my case I buried all but 9 inches in about a 1 ft deep trench. Nice fit (a little tighter/better than the ones sold at the big box stores). Very sturdy.Lots of length to work with and a decent amount of panhead self tapping screws. Used for a 14 ft gutter run on a shed to divert water into raised landscaping.

I needed to extend my gutter about 4-5 feet off my driveway and came across this solution. It works, but just be aware the unit comes in small pieces to you have to put them all together in order to reach the 7ft length, I was hoping it was a gutter adapter that came with a 7 foot hose but it’s a gutter adapter that comes with a few smaller sections of hose you have to put together. It works, but it could be better in my opinion.

Color is true to pictures. Extra long. Gutter spout extensions are well made and easy to install. Bends to most angles and stands up to the weather. Necessary to move water away from your foundation.

These are plenty long and easy to adjust to point anywhere away from your home. They come with 2"x3" and 3"x4" connectors, with the latter preconnected to the tube. Perfect for getting water away from your foundation. If your downspouts are 3"x4" then there's not much to do except connect the extension to your existing downspout. If your downspouts are 2"x3", like mine, be in for a world of pain and frustration as you attempt to remove the 3"x4" connector and switch it out for the 2"x3" one. My wrists have not been that sore since my bachelor days in high school. It's going to take a lot of elbow grease and some good work gloves to get the job done. You don't want to go barehanded and perhaps cut your hands on the plastic should something slip. If only they'd used a slightly bigger box for shipping they could have left both sets of connectors detached so you can attach whichever size you need rather than having to remove one to attach the other. The vendor's choice for a small savings by using a smaller box is your pain in the butt.

This did not come with the 3 inch adapters. Just the 4 inch attached to each hose

Ordered these extensions to resolve a rainwater problem. Here's what I thought:1. You get what is described in the listing: 2 extension pipes, both standard-sized downspout adapters for each extension, and a connector.2. I used the 3x4 downspout adapter and both extension pipes connected together and extended into an approximate 14' length. This moved rainwater from the house foundation and out of a garden bed.3. The pipes are not heavy-duty but work well with no tears when extended. The connector fits tightly with no noticeable water leakage.4. The material appears to be PE plastic which works better in colder climates.In sum, these downspouts were exactly what I was looking for and are doing the job they were made for. Recommended.
