Excellent product. Very apt for small/medium rooms
Excellent product. Very apt for small/medium rooms. What I love most about this product is the bass. This one have excellent bass and sound quality is amazing. Speakers are not too loud, but have very good clarity. FM works fine and clarity is good, but mostly it depends on the signal strength. The build quality of this speaker is also very good and also very good looking. One of the two things that I don't like is the short length of satellite speakers. I was glad that it was enough for my table setup. And second thing is that the volume starts at 20, which is high, whenever you turn on the speaker. It's a bit high, but since I use it with my PC, it's ok. Or you can try putting it on Aux mode when you turn off the speakers. It's a good way to avoid a booming high pitch sound when you power on the speaker.PROS:*Excellent Bass*Speaker Sound Clarity*Build Quality*Different options of source available like USB/FM/SD CardCONS:*Satellite speaker cable length is short. You cannot keep it very far or if you have a long table it won't be enough.*Whenever you power on speaker the volume starts at 20, which is very high. But if you are using it with a PC, then it's ok (Like I do). Else it's gonna be a headache.Overall, I love the product and it's worth every penny. Excellent bass coupled with great sound quality and it's Philips, what else you need.

Itne mein itna hi milega!- For given price, it's ok.
These speakers are surely not for audiophile or someone who wants crystal clear sound. Bass overpowers the music most of the time even if you use Equalizer settings. Bass is not tight and clear so overall result is a bit muddy sound. Bass can be controlled from the knob behind the subwoofer but still result is not good. No treble control. For 3K, it seems the price of speakers must be around 1.5K and rest for making the FM/usb/remote/display functionality. So obviously speakers can't be great in that price. If you can do without FM/remote/usb and have a good budget - go for M10 Swan /Bose/logitech Z623/harman kardon.I was in lot of confusion while ordering these. Wanted a 2.1 system (5.1 is just too many speakers to put up and manage). Budget was till 10K but finally settled on these as speakers in range of 7-8K were just speakers with no remote, USB or Fm functionality ( Logitech z623 and swan M10, Bose were some of the choices ).I compromised on the audio quality since I didn't want to lose functionality ( FM - I love listening to purani jeans at night, remote, USB) and these were a lot cheaper too. so in case, they go bad, won't pinch much. Also finding phillips service center in case of issue is far easier than hivi swan or other exotic brands. For this price, there is another option with same functionality in Creative brand. I just got these as this one had more positive reviews than creative product.Pros:1. Price - approx 3000 rs2. FM - channels are stored automatically once you scan them. Comes with FM antenna wire that plugs in back of sub woofer. FM reception is clear in my area. will depend on where you are located though.3, Remote4. Usb drive functionality - FAT32 till 16gb.4. Small LCD Display - though not very useful but adds a little bit to look5. Overall Looks6. comes with RCA to 3.55 connector audio cableCons:1. ok to moderate sound quality. Bass overpowers the music and it's not clear. But given the price, it's acceptable.2. display is just to show fm channel, audio level etc.3. No folder selection support in display while using pen drive. Big limitation. you have to skip each track one by one4. Remote sensitivity is not good and quality is poor too. I think I will purchase another remote just in case this one goes bad.5. Default volume is 20 ( product I received was manufactured in may 2016) so you have lower it down once you switch on the system6. Build quality though looks ok but all electronic components are housed along with subwoofer which obviously vibrates at high volume. I don't know if at this price, phillips has taken care to reduce vibration to electronic components or not. if not. then surely this will create issue later on.7. Major issue: lowest volume at level 1 is too high for listening to music at night. :-(Hope this helps you to make a right choice.Tip: you can buy bluetooth adapter to convert these or any of your speakers into wireless.Speakers sound good on Aux input with EQ settings customized on smartphone app ( not referring to speakers EQ ) for good audio output.

Very good speaker for this price range for home use (computers / USB listening / small party hall)Gives you pleasure while listening music, worth buyingPhilips has made changes with this revision based on customer feedback:1. They have added "mode saving" and "volume level saving feature" (upon speaker reboot) with this revision as opposed to initial release - This is definitely plus point as compared to another products in same range2. Earlier version satellite was 10W each, this is delivered with 12.5W nowRests of speaker features are superb:1. Sub-woofer – 20W with 5” drive2. Satellite – 12.5W with 3”drive3. USB/SD/AUX/FM – Multiple Choices4. Clear and crisp sound5. Good Bass6. Stylish look7. All controls on front panel8. Front Firing speakers9. Explicit Bass control knob at back panel of sub-Woofer - BASS control is not available on remote. The benefit of this setting and volume saving feature is that one can set it once and enjoy music without needing to adjust volume and BASS levels every time, this also removes dependency on Remote10. Remote control – Tiny remote control is pretty handy11. FM is OK if FM antenna is exposed in air properly, Philips still need to work on to improve FM qualitySpeakers received on time with excellent condition, amazing delivery by AmazonThanks
