This little camera is great. I have attached two pictures I took, standing in the same position to show you the zoom capabilities. Plus as you can see, it automatically focused for me to shoot. There are two buttons on the back, that you press to zoom in and out. Simple! Another button on the top switches viewing from the normal front facing to back looking at you, to allow you that added flexibility. The screen is very clear, and big enough to view easily.The camera has all sorts of automatic functions you can choose from, for different conditions and subjects. It is very easy to set, because it has hints right on its screen to tell you what each of it functions are.I also tested how close you can be to what you are shooting for the camera to focus on. I estimate it can get as close as 6 inches. I know many use this type of camera to take pictures of the meals they prepare or have at restaurants. This close focus ability would be perfect for that use.A real great added feature is they include two batteries. You can shoot away, and if you run down one of them, pop it open and put in the other.Add to that the low price, it really makes this I camera one that I am so glad I bought.

I purchased this to replace my older camera that was of similar size, but the technology has improved so much in the past few years, especially pixel quantity. i travel quite a bit, and this camera fits squarely in any jacket of vest pocket.It is both a camera and a 4K video recorder. With the included 32GB memory card, you can store thousands of photos or hours of video. The video resolution of 2160p is fine enough to view nicely on a big screen television. The fixed lens and 2.8-inch LCD display is also very helpful.The camera has both a regular and selfie ability. The zoom lens is 16x, and I took several shots at this range and was very impressed with the quality. I also really like the anti-shake technology, which is very helpful to an older adult. At 48 mega-pixels, you can print poster sized prints, if you wish. The quality is excellent. I like the ability of the camera to auto-focus since the camera has better vision than I do, and going from "flash" to "no flash" is just a button away.The camera comes with everything you need to get started- 2 batteries which will get you through a solid day of photo \ video taking, two handy camera straps, one for over-the-neck and a wrist-held strap, and a 32 GB memory card. Also included are the USB charging cord and electric plug-in charger. I like that the batteries charge in the camera, which saves space without having to carry an external charger. Finally, there is a nice felt-like carrying case and an excellent manual.I found the software to be intuitive. Press the "menu" button and just toggle to the various modes you wish. The camera buttons are all well designed for zooming in and out, have a selfie mode, and charging light, I recommend this camera highly.

I have many positive things to say about this camera. The battery is very long lasting, the pics are FANTASTIC and very high quality, it includes a memory card, it is very light, and it fits in my pocker. I was tired of using my phone to take pics and wanted to get back to using an actual camera, and boy I am glad I picked this one. I have not found anything about it that I don't like. The sharpness of the inages and videos are of super high quality. I remember the first digital camera I bought 20+ years ago was about $400. This one was less than $70 and the difference in quality is night and day. If you are looking for a camera, you will absolutely love this one!
