Good Quality Pipe worth the $$$$$$$$.
Got a pipe and more! The pipe itself is good quality, and the accessories make it worth to buy. The screen balls are awesome, and the multi tool is pretty useful for tapping down. The metal tool that looks like pliers are not what u think. It is for clearing out the bowl if it gets too nasty, as in you put it in the bowl pointing it down and then you twist to scrape inside of bowl. I had to look that up but you don’t have to now.

Smooth smoking.
Did the 3 Pinch Pack and wow!!! Easy to use and didn't have any problems with needing to relight. If you don't know what 3 Pinch Pack is, here's how it goes;• First pinch off a bit of what you're smoking and pack it in the bowel like shaking baby's hand with the tampering tool.• Second pinch off a bit more and pack it in like shaking a lady's hand.• Third pinch of the last bit and tamper it down like shaking a man's hand.• Finally, you take your thumb and give the bowel a couple of spins to make sure everything makes contact so you don't have to relight.Bowel doesn't burn too hot and there's no noticeable heat in the smoke. Works well with wet tobacco, so there's no need to dry it out more if it's too fresh. Depending on your smoking technique this may burn a little too fast, though I kind of like that. Pipe is aesthetically pleasing and fits nice in the hand. Light enough to hold with the teeth if one so chooses. Interior of the bowel doesn't look to have caught any tobacco and there wasn't any unburned contents left over. Left a nice white ash as it's supposed to.As far as negatives, there is one: The filter sits very loose for a filter. So you'll have to make sure you pushed it all the way into the mouthpiece and that it holds on it's own before attaching it to the bowel. Failure to do so will mean ash in the mouth. Would note I'm reviewing this at high altitude, so this issue might be due to that as a lot of materials expand and or contract when made away from here. We're also talking way less than a millimeter or 1/16th of an inch tolerances for the fitting. Full sheet glass panes for windows will change in much greater size from one location to another just like this. This being said, I'd recommend it more for puffers than suckers for this reason. Not of the opinion that one ought to be sucking on a pipe anyway, so it's perfect for my smoking style.Produces a nice and thick white smoke that only tastes like what's being cooked. If you use the rubber guards for the mouthpiece, I'd recommend you wash them first and dust them with some cooking starch. There isn't really a way around this if the taste of rubber bothers you. They did taint the taste a bit. You can sometimes avoid cleaning them by just letting them air out as well. This is an issue with the material and would affect any pipe that uses them. You don't actually need to put them on unless you're carrying the pipe with your teeth in my opinion. As far as the complaints other uses have had with the 2 extra mouth pieces, I didn't have those issues.

A fun little guy
I bought this pipe as a gift for my dad and sadly it arrived not in damaged condition but the original pipe stem had soemthing inside it constricting the air flow. It is easy to use and high quality. The quality of the wood is amazing along with the depth of the bowl. The only complaint I have that’s not the pipe stem is the drill hole as seen in the picture the angle that the hole was drilled to connect the mortise and to the bowl so you can actually use the pipe took a bit of material off of the wall of the mortise and left a divot.

Wonderful first pipe
This was my first pipe purchase. Knowing nothing about pipes I didn't know to look down on this pipe because it's made of pear and not briar. I didn't know this brand is bad or that it wasn't artisan made. And I'm glad I didn't know those things because then I wouldn't have found my favorite pipe even after purchasing 4 more expensive pipes. This thing smokes good, it's my best pipe for keeping the tobacco lit. It has a slot for a 9mm filter which I personally always use. I couldn't recommend this enough for someone starting out and not sure how much they want to invest in the hobby.

Wood shank is already splitting
Noticed after having this product for a couple days that the shank, the wooden part of the pipe that connects to the stem, is already cracked. I like the pipe, but to be already splitting is unfortunate. I’ve only had this pipe for 2 days so I’m wondering if this is newly formed or if the pipe arrived this way and I just didn’t notice.

Awesome Kit
This kit is a great starter kit with multiple options to personalize the pipe. The pipe smokes well and the extra filters are nice. The pipe tool is well built, unlike many of the ones sent in kits like this. Overall this is a great buy.
