A STEM Toy and Educational Game for Competitive Structured Block Play, Ages 4+

This is a fun, simple game that people of all ages enjoy. I have it in my library and I love watching the (middle school!) kids and teachers alike play and get really into the competition. My favorite part is when someone comes up to a game in progress with the “that’s so easy” attitude. Once they begin playing, though, they realize that it takes more skills than they thought!

The product is great but wasn’t much of a challenge for my just turned five year old.So I returned it.

My 4 year old LOVES this game! I love that it uses his brain in new ways and challenges him.

Absolutely love this game! I run a children's program and saw this on instagram so tried it out. The first day I had it, I had a sad little guy that missed his mommy in my program, so I took him aside and played this game with him. He loved it so much, he no longer was sad and was able to join the group again, this time showing other children how to play. So far, children from ages 3-12 really have fun with it! I like that it comes in a case that won't tear and is easy to transport, there is a template on the bottom so children can independently put things away, the wooden blocks are great quality and there are different levels of difficulty. Great job BLOCKS ROCK!

My 5 year old has enjoyed this competitive game and even using his imagination to build things on his own with the blocks.

I bought 1 of these in 2019 when I taught advanced math as a choice task for my5th graders. When I moved to first grade last year, I kept the game in my recess games cart. With both 6-7 and 10-11 year olds, this game was a raging success and favorite. Requires no explanations to play; the kids figured it out on their own in both years. I am so happy with this that I just bought my second one because I know it’ll be popular again.

I recently purchased my second set of Blocks Rocks and could not be more pleased! As a teacher, I'm constantly looking for new and exciting ways to engage my students with STEM products. Currently we haven't been able to play (we have been using the printable version they emailed), but before that they have so much challenging one another. The app that you can download also adds so much more value to the game. It has 3D structures instead of the 2D ones on the cards. I hope to buy a few more sets to have for my classroom.

I really love that there is another option to play offline on a tablet for more builds. I saw this on Pocketful of Primary and wanted to purchase this for my kids. After receiving it I think the price is a little too high for blocks and a bell. I did like this and of course I am happy I bought this, but a little sad the cards are basically just like playing cards and without lamination the will soon wear out. Either way I love it and glad I bought it. Teacher discounts would be much appreciated :-) as I would like to have at least two for whole class.
