Convenient and good quality
The "secret ingredient" in Thai laab salads. Toast this lightly in a dry pan before using to bring out the aroma and flavor.

Fine and coarse
This is a bit more finely ground than I expected, but it also has a lot of coarse bits as well. It adds a nice texture to dishes, like I coated my chicken drumsticks with this instead of panko. But flavor-wise I don't get much from it. The coarseness helps enhance any marinades laying underneath. I might try sprinkling on top of noodles next time to get like a peanut topping effect.

What you'd expect
It's what it purports to be. Arrived fresh. Not sure what else I can say about it.

Roasted rice
This roasted rice is very convenient to have on hand since it is already roasted and ground up!It tastes nice and fresh and the bag is resealable. Seems to be good quality and a good value for this size bag.

umami
Not really sure what I was getting, but so far this is very tasty on pan fried eggs. I eat eggs every day so i'm trying to find new ways to keep it exciting, and this does not disappoint. Adds a nice crunch to eggs that don't have any crunch.

No Clear Purpose
I was disappointed with this product. I was under the impression that roasted rice flour adds a certain flavor profile to Thai curry. Unfortunately, this basically worked like all rice flour, except more coarsely ground. It had no flavor and did nothing to enhance my curry. The bag is not very large, but to thicken a sauce, all you need are a few spoonfuls, so in that regard you do get a lot of value out of the product.

adds good crunch n flavor
it’s pretty solid. gave it a go with a homemade laab and it added this toasty kinda crunch that made the whole thing taste wayyy better. it’s already roasted so i didn’t gotta do much besides sprinkle it in. smells real nutty too. used it in a namtok salad too and that hit the spot. the bag’s got one of those zip things so it stays fresh, which is cool. not sure how long it’ll last me but 250 grams is a decent amount. prob gonna toss some in other stuff just to test it out more. if you’re into thai eats or just wanna spice up your food, this stuff’s worth a shot.

Lots of servings in package, many different uses are possible. Fresh.
Nutty, savory flavor in a fairly fine consistency. I have used this as a topping on other dishes, it blends well and gives a slight extra crunch to just about anything. Looking forward to looking up more recipes and trying out more product. Comes well-sealed and is a good value at under $7 for this size package.
