Worked amazing for my son!
This product helped my son so much! He is 9 and neurodivergent. He started a couple medications that could not be crushed. We tried all sorts of tricks on swallowing whole pills from his dr, but he loved this straw the most! It did take about a week of practice, before he could get the hang of it. But now we just drop the pill in the straw and he is able to swallow it right away! Just ordered a second straw in case we lose the first one!

Kid outsmarted it
Our child managed to just consistently block the tip of the straw with his tongue to prevent the pill from coming out, or immediately drop it back into the straw. Then it was sticky/slimy and stuck inside the straw so drinking it regularly wouldn't produce enough force to dislodge the pill from the straw. Child drank about 4 cups of juice and never got the pill down.

Easy to use and it absolutely works.
For my adult son who has struggled taking pills for about a decade after choking on a tablet years ago. It was an absolute BREEZE and it worked for him the very first time.

Just OK
Way too big in my opinion. A regular straw works better. But I can see how some might prefer it, if not just for the little pill holder in the end. Kinda pricey, too.

Not worth it!
Not worth the money. Pill was too small for the opening. Did not work well. Grandson could not swallow the pill.

Works on first try
I am a 13 year old girl who has never been able to swallow pills, even after trying countless methods and advice. I tried this today and for the first time, I was able to take a pill! Highly recommend

Med Hero - A Life Saver!!!
The med-hero is a great product, very useful for my 7-year old. Getting children to take medication is always challenging, and with this easy gadget my child made no fuss about the size of the pills or the taste. It was easy to use, I am considering getting one for myself! Easy to clean, easy to store, and I love that it is stainless steel.Highly recommend this to parents!!
