We have a feral cat that had kittens (we don't know where they are) and she became extremely thin when she began nursing her litter. Scary thin. I had no idea how much stress that puts on a momma's body until I did my homework. We started feeding her kitten food and began adding this to it twice a day. After one week, we can see a difference. She is starting to look healthier. It seems to be helping her along with her milk production as well. She doesn't mind the taste and it mixes well with wet cat food. It seems to be one one of the top selling KMRs with the least amount of sketchy unnecessary ingredients humans add to animal food. Five stars for sure!

This is the only brand I'll buy for kitten formula! It mixes easy, is great for the GI system, and poops are well-formed. It seems I always have neonatal kittens that suck this down in higher quantities than stated but they do so well on it I don't stress and I've bottled quite a bit. Clear pees too, so they're definitely hydrated, and always gaining weight (never a day of loss on this).I only wish it was more easily available... the quickest shipping I found was this larger bag and it was 2-day but took 3. I got some emergency KMR and wow, the difference switching to this once I got it ALWAYS amazes me, at least his little system was cleared out first. lol... But this isn't available in any pet store near me and Amz no longer does next day on any of the Revival kitten formulas (my last bottle baby I had a 12oz container in 12 hours).

My kitten was really struggling on KMR first it was a few rock hard poops then diarrhea. Hes 2.5 weeks old and finally had his first normal poop today after switching to shelters choice.

This is a wonderful solution for orphaned kittens. Avoids the issues with the more famous brand, namely that the powder leads to constipation and the liquid causes diarrhea - anyone who bottle fed orphaned kittens will tell you the same. This milk replacement has a taste kittens enjoy, helps them gain weight appropriately and is MUCH easier on their little tummies. I bought some for a local shelter and it's working out well. I suggest using them with the Mini Miracle Nipples and syringes! And the Kitten Lady is a great resource for tips on how to feed and rear orphaned kittens.

My kittens won’t drink this. It does smell sweeter than the other formula I’ve used but even mixed together they refuse this. It also seems to swell in the bottle (gas is produced causing air to build up and push off the nips). Unsure why the older and younger kittens won’t drink it, but it’s VERY costly to buy a big batch that cannot be used or returned so perhaps try a small version of any type before you buy. I’ve sunk way too much into formula that the kitties won’t drink 😭

I went by the reviews for this milk replacement for kittens when several people said the package was large. When you have to feed a litter a kittens, it is not that large. I guess it depends on a person's definition of large. For one kitten, this would be plenty. We have a new litter of 4 kittens, so this will not go that far. For the price, I did expect a bigger package. We have not had to mix any yet as the mother cat is still feeding them. I wanted this for a supplement for the kittens when they get bigger and for the mother as extra nourishment. I hope they like it.
