On the surface, the set looks like a great value—you get 16 bags in multiple sizes and a hand pump, which is convenient if you don’t have a vacuum nearby. The concept is solid and they do save a lot of space… at first.When I first used them, everything seemed great. The bags compressed bulky bedding and out-of-season clothes easily, and the hand pump worked surprisingly well. All four sizes came in handy for different storage needs. But after a few months, I started noticing problems. About 45% of the bags lost their seal and slowly reinflated. Some developed small leaks, others just wouldn’t stay compressed no matter how carefully I sealed them.The plastic is on the thinner side and doesn’t feel very durable. The seals also seem hit-or-miss—some close tight, while others require multiple tries and still fail after a while. LOVE THIS! Very easy to use at such a great price, I used the suction pump they provide and the suction is anmazing as you can see in my picture! I’ll try my vacuum next time to make it quicker though it does take a minute to pump it with the pump. Just as a size comparison of how big these bags are I have my pillow cases folded up on top, I fit my bed comforter with a bed sheet on the bottom bag, and 3 blankets in the second bag! This saved me with moving and for storage now!
