I have three kiddie pools in my backyard and the dog popped one of them. This stuff worked well and seals greats.

The media could not be loaded. We have an in-ground saltwater pool with a vinyl liner and out pool cleaning robot put a 3/4 inch slit in the liner at the corner. Luckily it was right above the water line, with the slit's bottom just touching the water. Even a slight wave would cause water to spill into the slit, so we needed to act fast.Type of kit/damage to use it on ...There are more expensive underwater repair kits available on the market ... but from what I researched, the underwater repair kits seemed to be more for above ground pools, or inflatable objects where you could stick a patch on both the front and back of a tear. We could only stick this on the outside of the liner.The process ...Basically the process is simple and you get a few circular pre-cut pieces for small holes and larger square sheets, which can be cut or trimmed. You take the piece of thin, clear plastic and cover the entire area with the adhesive gel (which was a little more runny than we thought, making it harder to work with) and then stick it on the area.Functionality ...While the area was just above the waterline, some water touched the bottom of the patch while I was placing it on the hole. The sides immediately curled inward as the patch is very thin. I thinned it out but there were several air bubbles left. Though I tried to smooth them all out with the edge pf a credit card, the patch slid around and I thought it best just to leave the smaller ones alone, as the patch slid so much. I applied pressure to the patch using the surface area of the credit card and left it alone.The look ...In 24 hours, the adhesive dried a little white on the patch. Not sure if that is normal, or had to do with the salt water in our pool. Because our liner has a rock pattern, it isn't incredibly visible ... but if your liner has a solid color, especially a dark one, you'll likely see the patch. It's better than water getting in the liner though.Durability ...After 2 weeks, the patch is still in place and seems to be keeping water out. It is adhered well ... although I am pretty sure it won't last forever as the material seems like it could degrade over time because it is so thin. Especially over the area where the slit appeared.Overall, we needed an easy to apply, quick fix. I figured that for around 11 bucks, if it didn't work ... we could then buy a more expensive patch kit. It's holding tight and doesn't look too terrible, so we'll leave this in place for a while. For underwater repairs, look elsewhere. For dry repairs, you get a lot of the gel and patches for multiple repairs. The value is the best part. I hope my video, picture (the patch repair area is circled in yellow) and honest review, after actually using the product, was helpfil to you.

There are a few reasons why I really liked this product over other vinyl patch kits I've tried in the past:1. It comes with a flat plastic smoothing tool that helps keep your hands clean and patches flat.2. The design of the cap is flawless. The cap has a small integral metal pin that helps keep the nozzle clear of patch compound.3. It comes with several pre-cut round patches and several rectangular cut-it-yourself patches.I'll never buy another vinyl patch kit long as this one is around.

Box had only a small piece of vynl instead a piece about about 12 inches by 4 inches .

Great for patching leaks in the pool. Had two leaks. Was easy to use, fixed the leaks quickly.

I figure I did it write with five of the patches and the fifth one is just off somewhat. I am going to try again this week because the weather is good again. This stuff is holding up on the rest, and that's exactly what I got it for. Fortunately, the 6th one is above the water line when someone isn't splashing around. This has been the best solution for a near end of the life liner so far.

Used it to patch a few small holes on my pool.seems to have done the job at sealing guess i will edit my review next year when its time to put the pool back up :)

Had to patch an air mattress and river tube. Worked great easy to use. Has good durability, very sticky and no leaks

This has everything you need to repair your pool, hot tub or air bed. It includes various sizes of patch (which sadly comes folded, so removing the crease is an unnecessary annoyance) and a prep tool as well as the adhesive. There are plenty of patches and the quality seems good. I used it to repair a pesky hole in our hot tub, and it seems to have done the trick.All in all, this kit is a handy essential. It's easy to use, effective, and comes with what you need to tackle unexpected leaks in hot tubs.

Took a few tries but I was able to repatch a pinhole in my above ground pool liner that was patched a few years ago but came off.The package came with plenty of clear square and round patches along with a squeegee. Wasn’t crazy about them being kinda folded as it made it more complicated than it should’ve been trying to put the glue on. Warming them up in the sun might’ve helped flattened them (maybe) but I didn’t want to wait.I took off a star because the glue is significantly thinner than a patch kit I bought at the local pool store (which had more of an ointment consistency). Since it was thinner, again it complicated the application to the patch and also applying the patch to the liner under water. It also kept coming out when putting the cap back on after putting the glue on the patch so have some paper towels ready In the end it did get the job done.

This is another iteration of the same product available under different branding all over amazon.It's a generic PVC glue, nothing special and neither are the patches, which are thinner than I'd hoped and, as is clearly visible from the visuals, are not fibre reinforced.Works fine for basic fixes.

The glue works well once applied it stick the transparent patch strongly to the paddling pool.The lid has a long pin secured in it, which gets inserted into the tube to keep it from blocking up when it is stored, which I think is great. The glue comes out really fast and I couldn't get it to stop coming out, so had to shove the lid back on, so there's glue everywhere inside the lid too.

This worked on a little leak we had in the pool. Very happy little one!
