Works great for the TV remote in our bedroom, keeps it from being lost BUT, as another unthought of benefit it also prevents you from rolling over on the remote and changing it or turning off your tv completely.

Junk. Wont retract. Another cheap product that will not work, you sill ship to your house, and then not return because it takes too much time for a small purchase.

I have a couple of large TVs that I use for a production company and we're always forgetting to put the remotes back in the roadcases after an event. With these tethers, I mounted the remotes to the back of the TVs so they're always with them. They extend out long enough that I can move to the front of the TV and adjust settings when needed. I also attached the sticky part to the battery door so if for some reason I needed to take the remote away from the TV then I could just unhook it by sliding the battery door off and leaving the sticky part attached. These seem like great quality and the cable for the tether is thick enough to feel secure but not too thick that it feels awkward to use. I also love the little locking pieces on them that can be adjusted if you need the remote to stop at a certain point on the tether.

It would be fine if it actually worked! Was fine and then won't work in a couple weeks . Horrible quality, didn't work after couple weeks. Wire doesn't retract and will snap. Sticky pads is way too sticky and will leave all residues on your remote and you won't be able to remove it.. Make sure you want something permanent before you stick it on anything. And then the retraction will stop working. And given the HIGH PRICE of this item, you would definitely expect better quality than this. It's worth maybe 10% of what they're charging. Don't buy this and stay away from this low quality seller!

It can help me keep some things on hold, like the remote control that I always misplace.
