Worked as described.
I used this to trim a maple tree that had grown out of control. The saw was sharp out of the box and had no issues cutting through 4 to 6-inch diameter limbs. The extensions seems strong enough. As other have said it gets pretty cumbersome to use at around 20 ft. I tried the pruner, but didn't have much success with it. Which I think was more user error than anything to do with the product. I am not a professional arborist, so I can't speak to the long term durability, but it worked perfectly for what I needed.

Gets it done!!!
Just received this and used all but one of the yellow sections to get a dead oak limb that was otherwise way out of reach. In about 20 minutes I had the limb down in several sections, the largest of which was about 5" in diameter. Saw went right through it, and again, this was oak. I like how the saw blade itself has large hooks at either end which prevent you from accidentally pulling out of the cut until it's done. The other thing I like is that the saw function and the rope-cutter function are separate. I have another, smaller pole saw where the rope is constantly getting tangled and in the way when you're just trying to saw. Love my new pole saw!!!

Works
Paid for itself in 1 day. very good build full length can be a little hard to handle but having an extra few feet sure makes a big difference. This is not a wimpy tool. The blade is great that came with the tool. The back up blade not quite so sure. Wish they had put the same blade in as a back up.

Not perfect but close enough
Very easy to use from ground level up until probably 15-18 feet. After that it becomes almost impossible to get it to go any higher. Definitely recommend using the gloves it comes with as it tore my hands up when I didn't use the gloves. All in all I was able to get the branches off of my house and prolong my siding and roof for about $80. Highly recommend, just don't expect to be able to trim branches 27 feet up like the pictures show.

OK, for lightduty use.
Assembled the unit first thing I noticed was the pole's constantly coming loose. After the fourth branch the pulley lever bent. It might be okay for light duty and occasional use. you would think the part of the pruner with the most stress would be something more than a mild steel, which easily bent.

Works great
I had a few broken tree branches 30 feet up that needed pruned. I thought of buying a 30 foot ladder for hundreds of dollars. A tree timmer wanted a couple hundred bucks. Instead, I bought this pole saw and was able to do the job myself and saved money. The pole saw worked great, no problems at all.

Great, but heavy.
Performed as described... the saw blades were incredible and it saved me a small fortune versus having a tree service do what I needed. Be aware, however, that once you've got 27 feet of pole put together, it's a workout trying to get the thing in the air and up to a branch... all a matter of leverage and physics... just know that in advance.
