Really disappointed with this purchase. RTings gave the 5.1 version of this high marks, but it got absolutely trounced by my much older basic Vizio soundbar.Shipping and packaging are fine and the unit is aesthetically pleasing. Except the giant LED text is bright as hell (it requires a dimmer button on the remote to dim/brighten) and is garbled as it's placed behind the speaker grill. It's just not well implemented.The audio was really poor. I tweaked all settings (Surround on/off, EQ settings, manually adjusting treble and bass) and the dialogue was horrific. It sounded like it was coming from some tinny hollow speaker in the other room. There was zero warmth to any of the dialogue. It felt cold and crunchy.Also I noticed that if I was playing a source with DTS-HD... the first time I played it, it would not play at all. I have to manually select a different source on the soundbar and then go back to eARC. And then finally the sound would kick on. BUT every time I hit the pause button and then hit play again... the sound reliably takes 3-5 seconds to kick back in.I don't know if this is eARC's fault or it's native DTS-HD fault but... either way it's not acceptable.Returning for something else.
