The sticks work to spread wax, I also used the before and after- they are fine, but... the strips are for soft wax according to everything I read. The hard wax machine I bought needs the wax itself to be removed without strips, they didn't work for my machine

Good set of waxing sticks! I do my own waxing so having the right tools helps and I like that this comes with what I need and also the spray before and after wax which helps my skin not react too bad from waxing.

This kit has everything you need and also a good variety, and there is a lot. You'll be set for a very long time. A great option if you just want to grab any and everything you might need, for a decent price.

Usually I don't bother using specialized "nose" waxing sticks, I just use a thinner wooden stick.Decided to give this one a try.Worked pretty well, there is a twist design on the business end of the nose sticks that picks up and holds the wax well, is definitely more foolproof and less messy than using a wooden stick.The nose sticks did such a good job holding onto the wax I even used a couple of them to wax the entrance to my ears. Worked pretty well for that as well.This set includes a decent selection of regular sticks as well which I used on a few areas and they worked just like you'd expect them to. Not much to go wrong with a wooden stick after all.I did not use the moustache style upper lip guards since I waxed my upper lip before I waxed my nose. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't work like they are supposed to.I also like the resealable plastic bag that this set comes in. All too often when you buy waxing sticks they come in a cellophane bag you have to tear open and never really does a good job holding everything after opening. This one keeps everything clean and neat between uses.Overall a good set.
