I used extra spray adhesive on the floor (gorilla construction spray adhesive). Make sure you have a “roller” to roll the tiles after placing them. Take your time. Measure center line. This was one box of white and one box of black. I had to order more. Would recommend.

I've been testing several different brands and styles of peel and stick tile, and while some had great designs, they didn't feel as thick as I'd hoped for. That's not the case with these tiles!When these tiles arrived, I was surprised at the weight of the box. These are considerably thicker, heavier peel and stick tiles - far more like true tile than a peel and stick tile that's more like a sticker. They do still have some flex to them, which is a very good thing, and they do also allow for easy cutting providing you score along where you want to make your cuts.I began laying them down without using the adhesive to see if they'd work on our floors, as our house is over 100 years old, and the floors have more give in them than a new home on a concrete slab or a new home in general. I proceeded to walk on them, the cats decided to lay on them (glad they approve) and was pleased to see that they will tolerate the give that floors in an older home can tend to have. They did not pop up at the edges, but flexed with the floor.As my laundry room is ground zero for all things peel and stick, I did add several of these tiles to that floor as well to see how the adhesion and wear would stand up.Wear: These are holding up to repeated digging by our weirdo cat, who must scratch the floor in front of his litter box while using it, my husband's work boots being kicked off onto them, and general foot traffic. They haven't budged, and there aren't gouges in them where some thinner tiles have not faired as well. We'll see how they do over time, and I will update this review if I see a significant issue with tile wear.Adhesion: I adhered these to clean and dry floors that I first pre-treated with 91% rubbing alcohol just to make sure there was no residue that would interfere with the adhesive on the tile. Once the floor was completely dry, I placed the tiles, pressed down firmly with my hands for 10-15 seconds, and then used a roller to further place the tile down and allow for maximum adhesion. I've done this exact process with all the tiles I'm testing, and these went down the easiest, which surprised me since I expected to have to fiddle with them more due to their thickness. I left them undisturbed overnight, and then peeled a tile off to see how easy or not easy it was to remove. It was slightly difficult to remove because it was adhered well, and as the seller makes no claims to it being easily removeable, I don't see this as a negative. These are meant to stay in place, and they do that very well.Compared to the cost of traditional tile we we cannot do without additional costs remediating the vinyl/linoleum from the 60s or 70s, adding in new subflooring, etc, on top of the cost of new tiles - this is a very solid, wallet friendly option that allows us to enjoy a refreshed look while saving for a more permanent solution down the road.

This peel and stick tile is really good looking tile. It worked exactly as expected and was very easy to install. It does not look cheap at all. I would buy again and I would recommend it.

This is so weird looking when you put them down, it looks just like the pictures!!The tiles are very sticky and come with arrows to help you line them up.I put them down around our work station and it looks awesome, a real 3d "Q-Bert" look!
