I found the rechargeable ear defenders very easy to set up and use The ear phones are superb,the fm is very easy to work and so is Bluetooth on first installation you need to press the preset button before you do anything in dab mode otherwise you will have no channels and the dab will just keep saying error finding connection, apart from this the delivery time was amazing the headphones play better than most radios the sound quality is perfect no signal buzzing no signal loss, even tells you the songs that are playing, fantastic product.Great product would recommend to anyone

Great product, the ear defenders are comfortable and the quality of sound is clear also the Bluetooth option is a handy feature to have to link it with your phone so you can listen to music stored on your phone and if your phone is ringing it interrupts your music so you never miss a call, I would recommend these to friends.

If reading do not buy these. Sound doesn’t even work had the volume on full blast on mobile phone and headphone speakers you could hardly hear it, do not recommend.

As ear defenders they’re fab do the job perfectly! In fact everything but the sound quality is good. The sound quality is the only thing is lacking the price which is a shame.

Compared to the other products, of similar function, the Protear Bluetooth Ear muffs are a great value for the price. They are just as effective in blocking noise as broadcasting FM, AM and sharing Bluetooth signals from any of my devices. Battery life is good and the unit recharges quickly. I would highly recommend these for use around the workshop or outdoors.

Had to ask Protear for the full performance data (HML and APV) which they have sent and that confirms these things do their main job of hearing protection well. Away from that, the bluetooth, handsfree calling and FM radio is a lot of features at this price-point.The NRR sticker on the front of the box is useless - that is American and not for the likes of us over here.Sound performance though with music is terrible. Tinny, shallow, metallic, horrible and unpleasant. Like cheap 1980 Walkman headphones.

Radio is poor, Bluetooth is good, it does give good protection next to loud machines, it lasts for good 10h non stop listening, should be cheaper for the quality

Great comfort, sound and very easy to set up bluetooth to phone for music or radio. Used most days whilst working and easy to recharge. Had small issue with battery which was quickly resolved by Customer Service at Protear!
