These batteries are great. They charge easily and it’s nice to have a spare one when you need it.

I like this generic Makita battery. It fits my cordless Makita drill just like the battery that came with it and it runs the tool with no noticeable difference. It is great to have an extra ready for longer jobs. The 3.0 amp hours size is convenient too and it keeps the tool from being too heavy. An important feature is the built-in battery meter. I like being able to know the charge level whenever I need to. I hate grabbing a dead battery when I need juice. I do wish they had used a teal color for this battery instead of just gray. Color coding is important for efficiency. I don’t want to have to try a battery on different tools to figure out which generic version it is. I would say this generic Makita 18 volt battery replacement is a good value.

I rarely do any jobs that require a massive battery, I thought this would be a little less unnecessary bulk to carry. It charged properly on a Makita charger and spun the tools like it should.There are quite a few off-branded tools that will run on Makita batteries (I have several), but they often include batteries that will not work with Makita tools and use oddball barrel-plug chargers - they don't have the yellow strip of contacts in the center that makes them Makita-compatible for tools or the chargers. This battery will run everything using the Makita battery format and works with Makita or knock-off cradle chargers. It fit quite nicely in everything I tried, as good as OEM. This will be great for when I'm carrying a tool on my belt or trying to conserve space in a small toolbox. I don't foresee the capacity coming up short for 90% of what I do, but the best thing about rechargeable battery packs is being able to have more than one, so I can always swap it out if needed.

This is an aftermarket battery pack for 18 volt Makita power tools. It is as powerful as the original and charges almost as quickly. It seems to provide the same level of power for just as long as the factory battery, although no two sessions of use are the same for me.I am lucky enough to now have three Makita batteries for my tools, and I am able to keep one in use, one charging, and one cooling down. I don't see any tangible difference between this one and the others, and it is able to hang with the rest of my tools. Reliable and durable!

A 3.0Ah tool battery is the right size for DIY projects around the house. A battery that size will easily last a day of light use and, it’s lightweight, makes the tool easy to use. This Eagglew BL1830B Makita battery replacement fits my battery charger and power tools tightly. I much prefer that firm battery hold than a looser one on tools. A series of LED lights on the end of the battery indicate the charge state.I used this battery to power electric pruning shears this past weekend. After a morning of springtime bush reshaping and tree trimming with the fully charged battery, the Eagglew BL1830B’s remaining charge was at the halfway point according to its display. Perhaps a different tool would have used up the battery’s charge more quickly and, if that happened, the tool’s original battery would have been slapped in to complete the job. The latter is the benefit of purchasing tool affordable tool batteries like Eagglew’s. Another plus is that lithium-ion batteries have little to no internal resistance so even off-branded affordable ones maintain their full charge in between uses.This battery functions like a branded battery and serves my DIY needs.

I was hoping that this little battery would give me just a bit more run time…so tired of changing these batteries in the middle of a job. Better than the others of this size and price range but not buy much

Got this to use with a cordless paint sprayer. Charges just fine on a Makita charger and worked good in my paint sprayer.No issues yet!I can't speak to the longevity of the battery, since I've only had it a few weeks, but so far so good.

Using in a Makita tool it only works if I keep my hand on the battery to keep pressure on it. Otherwise, it will not work. Do not recommend.
