TorkliftF2016 F3006 Pairs of Front and Rear Camper Tie Downs for Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 Super Duty

Rear set simple to install. Front a little more difficult and the instructions were not real clear. Overall very satisfied. I would recommend these to anyone who needs to tie down a camper.

I installed these on my F350.The instructions were confusing at times, but I got them installed.If you’re not a mechanic or handyman have someone else install these.They are really sturdy & no doubt will hold a camper in my truck.

I'm happy with the quality of the parts (although the outside part of the tie-downs have more play than I would like) but the instructions, especially for the front ones, were terrible. The rear ones were a piece of cake to install, even though the instructions didn't exactly match my experience. The front ones however had awful instructions that I'm sure even skilled mechanics would be frustrated with. There are something like 4 different possible paths you can take through the instructions, and instead of having them be separate sections, they just included them in the step numbers. So something like steps 6-8 are one option, 9-11 are another, etc. And, it's not entirely clear from the instructions which path you should take. I guessed and got lucky. The photos in the instructions do not match my vehicle, they sometimes were mis-referenced in the instructions, and they seem to show pre-production prototype parts rather than the actual parts you're installing. For spending so much money on these, I really would have liked better instructions. The installation process took me about 2 hours, with most of that time trying to understand the instructions and figuring out how to drop the fuel tank cover. But I just did a 3.5 hr drive with the truck camper using these tie downs, and it was a solid ride with no issues, so now that they're installed I'm happy with them.

My truck camper is way too big and heavy to use anything else. I wouldn't consider any other options.

Parts had chips in the "powder coating" and contained rust on the interior of the tie down square tubing. Which I have seen in the past when purchasing these types of tie downs for different vehicles. Seems to be a poor surface treatment process with these items. The coating is not durable whatsoever.

Installed on a 2016 F-350 Crew CabRear tie downs are a snap to install. Once tightened it still moves and clunks up and down.Missing parts and hardware had to barrow from an old set to complete the install. Directions and photos lack proper revisions. The right front center bolt would require drilling the frame. Hooks push against fuel tank, fuel lines and wiring. I have factory decals stating “NO HOOKS” right where TorkLifft hooks the right front tiedown. Not sure if I voided some warrantee or created a safety issue.Out of the box the finish was inconsistent and scratched. On my last set the coating was unacceptably faulty, it peals off in 2 years and rusts out as with all their steel products.The price is ridiculous for such an all around low quality product.Disappointed is an understatement.
