This is a super cute shadow box, that my daughter got for Disney doorables. It works well for her to display them and at a reasonable price.

This box looks really nice, and I do love that the shelves are adjustable to accommodate different-sized items. However, the box as a whole feels more flimsy than I'd like; I very much doubt it would survive even a shorter drop if it were to fall off the wall. The door is especially thin. For the price, currently just under $33, I would expect it to be a little more sturdy. Otherwise, it's a nice product and is still something I'd recommend for lighter-duty purposes.

Bought this to display some netsuke and the black background gave a nice contrast. Appears to be well made, I'm happy with it after a month of use.

It's more of a heavy pressed cardboard than thin plywood. The plexiglass front keeps weight down. It does have a peelable film on it to prevent scratches.Hanging - sawtooth hooks on top edges. Screws inclused for mounting to a wall.Worksmanship - Basic but effective. All edges line up & there aren't any wierd marks or glue anywhere.Looking forwars to displaying memories of my mother in this elegant black shadow box.

I inherited a large collection of Wee Forrest Folk. Tears shelves are perfect for display as they are shallow. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a way to lock it. Might be better suited for a rock collection or Pix o bits figure collection nothing collectible or precious/valuable. The little swing latch doesn’t make it easy to add one, either. I have a few much nicer locking glass display cases I prefer to use for my mice.

This shadowbox is very lightweight. Its nice to find a shadowbox that has removable shelves to accommodate different sized collectables. The figures I was putting in this box only allowed me to use one shelf, so I liked that the backing was also padded velvet so a couple figures could be mounted hanging.Construction: Everything was square and assembled well. That being said, it seems like the materials are kind of cheap. It does seem that the sides and shelves are made out of wood, but there is a faux wood finish laminated onto it, and the shelves are all a bit warped. The door is very thin acrylic. I expected it to be a painted black wood finish overall to match my other shadow boxes. There are 2 sawtooth hangars on the back top edge to hang it, which can make it tricky to get level. I would much prefer a wire. The choice of a pivoting locking clasp is nice and keeps it from accidentally opening.Overall, the price is not as high as some other wood shadowboxes so this is a good value for a display that will be assembled once and remain on the wall thereafter. It has a good depth to contain a variety of displays, and the pre-assembly is done quite well.
