Why did you pick this product vs others?:$20 prime day deal.... Worth every penny (so far). Arrived today 7/10/25. First rice cooker I've ever owned. I've made rice on the stove for 15 years. I just felt I never needed one. A friend's unit convinced me otherwise. I wanted something that didn't take up much space but would make at least 2 cups dry and morning swanky. THIS is perfect. Makes 3 cups dry. I took it right out of the box. Rinced it and within a half hour, had perfect PR rice and beans. I'll submit future updates.

this made the best rice ever in a short amount of time!!!!i put the rice and water and pressed the button, the machine did the rest! it was so fast and so yumm!!id suggest to turn it off (the warm setting) youd have to unplug it so the rice doesnt burn!!

I purchased this to replace my old rice cooker that I had for twenty plus years. It’s the same cooker - perfect for small portions. Upgraded bowl - the old one had a galvanized bowl - this one is non-stick. Love it.

While parts of this unit feel cheaply made, I think it's what you would expect for the price. I've only used it once and as someone who's never had a rice cooker before, I don't know why I waited so long to get one. It simplifies dinner so much. I set it and forget it and took care of the process. The rice was a little too soft, but overall I was pleased.

This is the first rice cooker I've ever owned. I bought it because I liked the small size and because of the difficulty of cooking a good batch of rice in a pan on the stove top.When I found a compact cooker that offered "Perfect rice at the flip of a switch," I took the plunge.Unfortunately, my experience with the cooker has been quite disappointing. I've done multiple batches in this cooker, following the quantity directions for both rice and water. But for whatever reason, the cooker just keeps chugging away when the water is gone, resulting in a burned mess.To avoid this result, I set timers to alert me periodically to check the cooker and make sure to turn it off before it ruins the batch. This certainly isn't what I expected from a "perfect rice at the flip of the switch" cooker.Also, by the time the cooker switches to the "Keep Warm function," the rice is not "ready-to-eat," but burned and ready to toss.We are past the "return to seller" date, so we own a not-so automatic rice cooker. What a disappointment!

I liked it a lot, the rice cooks well and it saves me a lot of time, but I would have liked it to turn off immediately and not continue heating because sometimes it burns the rice.

I'm really happy with this product. It works as described and feels high quality. It seems durable. I would definitely recommend as a reliable option.
