Not as pictured, I ordered 2 and the R on the corner is HUGE and unsightly,also came warped.I ordered them for a special project I was making, If they would of came as pictured it would of worked.wasted my time. UPDATE... company contacted me and sent me two new boards just like the ones pictured, I appreciate that . Now I can do my project.

When I first got the product. It was a very nice product. It was the exact size I was looking for and the price is right however two months and having it and only using it once I went to set it out and it’s I could feel it’s cracked already. I’ve seasoned it before I used it so I don’t think that was the issue and I hand washed it, so I’m not quite sure why it’s cracked.

We use this as a cover for our gas range. We have two portable induction burners on top of it, and hence are avoiding cooking on gas, until we can get rewired for 240v and get a built-in. Cooking on our piped-in propane seems to generate health warnings from our gas detectors. Gas needs to go into the history books.Anyway, if used for food prep, it is a really great bamboo surface and ideal for those extra-big baking adventures.

My use case may be a bit unusual. I have a large gas cooktop and very little counter space. I ordered this because it is the right size to fully cover the cooktop and provide extra surface space for when we aren't cooking. Great for prep, or just a spot to set groceries when coming in from the store.The weight is not too bad because it is bamboo and not too thick. Still a bit awkward to find a place for when we are cooking.I dropped a star because the board has noticeably warped already, within 2 weeks. It has not been exposed to water or heat from the cooktop (we let it cool before putting the board back on top). Our kitchen has a dehu running in it to keep humidity at a normal level as we live in the south.I've flipped the board to see if it will reverse back to normal, but I don't expect that to work. Since I'm not using this specifically as a cutting board, it still works for my purposes. However for others, that warping may be an issue and is hard to avoid with this large of a piece. Weight placed on top of the warp could result in cracking as well.

The media could not be loaded. We had purchased a very large bamboo board, and we're very excited when we received it. After a few short days, we heard cracking noises and the board began to split of apart. We contacted the company who was very apologetic and sent us a replacement at no cost, and we have had no issues with the new board. It's refreshing to find a company who is honest, one who actually is concerned they put forth a product they fully stand behind and are committed to customer satisfaction within reason. We would not hesitate to recommend this company and their products and will definitely look to purchase additional products as needed in the future.

I really love this board but not close to perfect. I only bought this to make flour tortillas and since the kitchen In the house I live in has small square tiles countertop, the small boards slide alot. This board takes lots of space for me to work with and again I love it but the finish is gritty, like when it just came out from the saw mill. So it needs to be sanded and cure with oil wich I don't mind learning how to and theirs waybenesd to the top of the board. Not alot but you can feel it when you slide your hand across the top surface. It is huge so it can be a little challenging in cleaning it. Theirs a small scratch that bugs me but other than that, I just wish it was smoother from the get go.By the way I don't know anything about carving board this is my first I'm going to use and learn from their.

I USED THIS BOARD ONCE! I was excited to have a cutting board this big because I smoke a lot of roasts, briskets and ribs but this board has a huge bow in it and slips on my island when I cut. What a waste... DO NOT BUY! And if I stand it up next to my fridge it pops and cracks and makes noise.update: 1.5 months later the cutting board is unusable. The bow is so drastic it wouldn't hold juices but what's worse are the cracks that appeared between bamboo strips will fill with animal fats and go rancid.... More landfill products from China.AVOID THIS PRODUCT

This board is nice and large so it expands our counter cutting area. I suggest oiling it before use. Ours stained before I had time to oil it. Our first arrived broken and they easily replaced it.
