What is the weight limit?

FaceCradle can be used by the heaviest person.  The internal frames are designed to spring and flex like a fishing rod and will not break with typical use.  Approximately 80% of the users weight is supported by the seat in the Deep Sleep mode so the harness will take a minimal weight to simply stop the body falling forward.  This means if a person is 100kg the pillow and harness will hold only 20kg, way below its limit.   If the pillow is subjected to a severe impact in an emergency or accident situation, the harness clips are designed to release and the safety catch will open.  In this case the user will be retained to the seat by their seatbelt.

What’s the spring upgraded so that holds more weight?  And does the memory foam smell?

Thank you for your question.  Customers of our Original model loved the product but suggested we make a smaller version for more portability.  In doing so, we didnt want to compromise the support the product offered.  The internal fames (or springs) are made of fibreglass reinforced nylon.  They are designed to work in coordination with the metal hinges and safety strap to provide much more support than any travel pillow.   We conducted more research and testing and found we could stiffen the spring in the pillows and provide the same or better support.  FaceCradle provides many more comfort options and support that holds you where you sleep.  This means you fall asleep faster and stay alseep longer.  FaceCradle is by far your best option for sleep in economy.   Regarding memory foam smell.  As far as this process goes, we do nothing different to any other product made of memory foam.  When we ship we protect the pillow with a plastic bag.  Unfortunately this means it retains the new smell and when a customer with sensitive smell opens the bag, this is what they smell.  This smell always dispurses within 1-3 days.  The pillow is made with hypoallergenic memory foam and is completely safe.  Thank you again for your question.
