We had been looking for a solution to cleaning inaccessible exterior windows on first and second floors. This seemed like a smart idea and it works really well. The magnets are extremely powerful so make sure you order the correct version depending on your window thickness or it might be hard to separate them once attached on either side of the window. The small sponge to hold cleaning fluid/soap, the washable pads, the built in rubber squeegee to wipe the fluid off without streaks - all of it well designed and very easy to use. The build quality seems pretty good - got 16 windows cleaned inside and out in an afternoon and no problems so far. Do be careful though - the magnets are so powerful you could break a finger if not careful.

What a dangerous and useless product. It almost took my fingers off with the incredibly strong magnets on 2-3 occasions and when I finally was able to use it on a window by carefully and slowly gliding the two half together so as not to break the window, it still made a jittery track across the outer window and left streaks everywhere. The tiny triangles of sponge can't possibly clean windows with any efficacy. Thankfully, it wasn't expensive, but it wasn't worth it either.

This product contains very strong magnets. Do not let the two sides get near each other without the guard, and be VERY sure your fingers are nowhere near the interior. Even allowing the two pieces within 6 inches of the other will attract them, and quickly! This happened to me twice - the first time my fingers were trapped within the center and getting the pieces apart was a monumental feat. After I extracted my fingers the pieces would not budge apart. Had to take a screwdriver to wedge them away from each other.As far as the product’s effectiveness, I have a large second floor picture window in between two double hung windows that had streak of chalky discoloration in the center. Would not hose off, and it was just beyond reach of the window squeegee extender handle.I put a wet scrubber pad against the glass, held it with the outside piece, then attached the inside piece. I moved the cleaner back & forth over the area slowly. The window cleaner & scrubber actually removed the discoloration, while holding the pieces tight in the process.This is a very good product, great invention ~ just guard your fingers carefully!

I had one window that I can’t clean from the outside. This tool helped 100%. It’s a little skewed to use, since the magnets are super powerful. You can definitely hurt a finger if not following precautions.

I got this one because it is for double glassed windows ones with two sheets of glass, Instead of working and sliding around it actually slid both pieces of glass out the window frame and now it's jacked up. The magnet is not for basic windows its so strong its for like car wind shields or something thick like that.

Product worked as advertised. This set was the best priced set I could find on Amazon. It didn’t disappoint and adhered well to my windows. Takes some technique but with practice would be easy to obtain.

Was excited to use this on my windows. Followed instructions and it was very difficult to make it move. The sponge portion that cleans is teeny tiny. Magnet is very strong and actually caught my fingers in between and was incredibly painful. Ended up returning.

I found this product extremely difficult to use. Even following instructions, I was not able to get a clean finish on my windows.The worst part is that this product broke a window of mine that is now costing me $250 to replace.I would not recommend using this product for any windows that you can reach both sides of to clean, or in instances where you can remove the pane and clean it inside. I regret using this product.I also slammed my fingers between the components more times than I can count.
