Amazing for the price
I bought this on a whim, as another reviewer said it exceeded his expectations, and so far it has exceeded mine, too. Just a basic radio, analog tuning and only three controls, rotary on/off/volume, tuning knob, and band selector switch. Tuning in a station does require some patience; don't expect the precision of digital tuning, but once you get a station locked in, it stays there, and sound is unexpectedly full and rich for such a small (about 3-1/2-4 inches in diameter) speaker; it also can get quite loud when necessary. Reception is better than average on AM, much better than average on FM; I haven't had a chance to adequately test SW at night, when SW reception conditions are better, but will update this review when I do. Larger than pocket-sized, but still small and light enough to carry anywhere. I like that it takes a single 18650 rechargeable battery (supplied); also came with the charging cable. No headphone jack, unfortunately.

Awesome radio for work
Sound is great for a smaller radio the battery lasted 12 hours and was still going strong. I turned it off and reconnected it to the charger when I left work. Only issue is the volume knob is really touchy at the lowest volumes. But I would definitely buy it again. The reception is great and the sound is clear, what more do you want from a radio ?Get one !

Works as advertised Good Radio
Received the radio in great shape. Packaged well. Radio worked immediately out of the box, good clarity reception, very high volume for a small radio. I did plug in the USB charging cable to charge the lithium battery inside fully. Instructions say to charge at least 6-8 hours for best results. I am pleased with this product works as stated in the description. If you need a portable rechargeable radio buy it.

Good sound but with some issues
This is supposed to be an FM/AM/SW (shortwave) radio. It does okay on FM. I don't listen to AM. It didn't do too well in picking up shortwave. The volume control is quite sensitive. Since the radio is light in weight, the ON-OFF-VOLUME control can't be operated without pressing against it and the opposite end of the radio at the same time, so it takes two hands to turn it on and to adjust volume. A knob that sticks out on the front would be better. The tuning knob is a regular knob, but since the radio is light, again, it takes two hands because the knob has some resistance to being turned. Other than these issues, it does a good job, and the fidelity for a small radio is quite good. The radio has a rechargeable battery that requires a USB socket. It comes with a short cord. It would be nice if it had a compartment for the cord. Overall, it is acceptable, but could be better human-engineered.
