Ehh
I thought this would be a good gift for my 6 year old for Christmas. Many of the connections didn’t work even when my husband and I tried. Not easily stored.

Modernized Circuit Toy
For anyone that grew up with the electronic science kits that came with the bare wires and the screw down connectors along with the lights and beep sounds that can be made, this is like that, but with modernized and safer plug-n-play connectors. One of the light connectors is a USB plug for a light. The wires fully plug in to the devices for clean setups and true connections.Once you figure out which of each of the components are, you just follow the basic instructions and plug them into one another. They have three connecting boards the resemble lego style connectors if you want to set them up that way. But they can also be setup without the board. The instructions not only tell you how to put them together, they ask questions to the user of why it would work that way and then give an explanation at the bottom of each experiment that is called "Why Is That?"As stated above, it's a nice clean setup for plugging things together and following the instructions to get the experiments to work. It states there is 101 different setups to do. Many of them though are extremely similar. There is a power supply that takes batteries and also a wind up power supply. You can use either one for the experiments and I think people should exchange them with different experiments and try each way to power them. The one thing I always liked about these types of kits as a kid was making the thing that WASN'T in the book and experimenting with things from the imagination. They could probably do the same with this, but the wiring might limit in some ways. It's a nice little set though and would probably be fun for kids around 6 years old and would be a nice gift. I think the price listed for the kit is right where it should be and I do recommend this.
