Perfect “rug” mat that’s easy
Love it. I have pets and my puppy needed traction around the house but I needed something I could easily clean that could also go in the kitchen. I didn’t want a fabric rug since food and liquid would get all over it.this is exactly what I needed to give traction and super easy to sweep/mop/clean. I got three different sizes and they are great! Wish there were more patterns available

Excellent solution to a common kitchen wood floor problem
Fantastic product. Thicker than I expected and the nice wood floor is clearly visible through the vinyl. Excellent way to protect our floor from cooking spills and small amounts of water. An added bonus is that the thickness provides a little bit of padding, making the floor slightly softer to work on.

Great for under a kitchen table
I wanted something under my table and something that was easy to clean from grandchildren lol if you have small children around this is perfect for under the table and easy clean up from spills or whatever.

Durable, but I have to clean it multiple times a day
Durable and stays in place which is great, but it collects a ton of dust and lint. And because it’s black, it looks worse than it actually is. I have to mop it all the time even when it’s not being used

Great mat!
I use this to protect the floor in my rabbits’ area and it is perfect! I got the clear mat but I actually put it on top of an area rug to maintain the look of an area rug while making the area super easy to clean! I love that there are multiple sizes so I was able to get one the exact size I needed for the rug. It has a bit of texture on the top so the rabbits don’t slide on it. I was afraid there would be a strong plastic smell but there wasn’t at all! Once I unrolled it and followed the instructions it laid perfectly flat within an hour. I highly recommend!

Pole dance mat for heels
None of the other reviews were for this use case so I was taking a bit of a chance on this mat and I am SO glad I did.Dancing with heels can damage your floors, but my floors already badly need to be refinished and are uneven in places. Making it a little bit treacherous for heels or just sliding on the floor and feeling like you'll get a splinter.I was very skeptical of the traction this mat would have, as well as if it would want to "pick up" at all when doing a pirouette/spinning on my toes in shoes. The mat has one side slightly textured, and the other completely smooth. I put the textured side down to the floor and honestly didn't test it the other way around. It's neither too sticky or too slippery and I feel very confident walking on it even in 7" heels. It does not want to pick up at all even when spinning near the edge of the mat.I did have to flatten it out with books (as the instructions indicate) and even applied heat from a hair dryer to help with the side that was most tightly coiled in the roll. The curling reduced significantly after just a few hours and I feel like it will flatten entirely but I haven't gotten that far yet.As for installing it around my pole, the mat was pretty easy to cut a hole in the center of. I just marked off the base of the pole first and then traced that circle onto the mat, and was able to get it the perfect size to fit just under the lip of the base when I reinstalled it over the mat, so it wasn't difficult to cut with precision. I used a box cutter for the initial hole and then refined it with kitchen shears. It feels thick enough that I'm optimistic about it's durability.I wish I had gotten one a little bigger, but it is true to the size I ordered.

False advertising
Might not matter to everyone, but it’s 57.5 inches wide, not 60 as advertised. This matters to me because I had planned to use this as a mat for a rabbit pen so I built the pen to the dimensions listed for the mat. When I put the mat in the pen there was a big gap on the sides. I had already taken it out of the packaging so now I can’t return it. Not a cheap mat so I feel like I wasted a lot of money.

The pluses don’t outweigh the minuses
Meh. I was hoping for something with a better surface that isn’t so porous. It stains. If anything like dropped food dries on it, it’s near impossible to get off due to the texture and things just adhere to it! Even if I use a cloth soaked in water to soften up the spill, I have to use a small scraper to dig in to get it all off. The dye bleeds a bit when you first start cleaning it.I would give it a lower star score for those reasons but it does have some pluses. The thickness is nice. It helps absorb sound in a room with wood floors. The print isn’t super exciting but it’s pleasant and softens up the room. The price is really nice for the size. I don’t have high hopes for durability because the need to perform such rough cleaning. I hope to be pleasantly surprised but I won’t feel terrible if I end up recycling it in a few years.
