Not as it’s described
It’s a sharp knife and so is the edge of a tin can after opened with a can opener. Neither of which are made with Demarcus steel or made through a layered steel process. The pattern on the knife is stamped and represents a consistent regular stamp which is also not representative of a layered Damascus steel irregular layered boundaries. I believe the price was increased then listed on sale to represent a Damascus layered steel price point.Get the knife if you like, just don’t get it thinking it’s an actual Damascus steel blade.

Excellent choice if looking for a serrated knife.
The knife is as sharp and effective as one would hope. The handle is comfortable and it looks good too!

Trimming In Style
Almost to attractive to use! The knife is unquestionably superior to the standard kitchen knife when cutting into tight areas, making fine cuts to remove skin, or removing layers of fat from meat. The handle lays nicely in my hand and is easy to hold while cutting. Incredibly sharp right out of the box. Certainly not the cheapest knife available but I'd buy it again in an instant.
