Very easy to program and works perfectly!
My husband's key fob broke a few weeks back. The local dealership wanted $200+ to replace it. I'm way to cheap to pay that much money, but was also leary about how well these after market fobs would work.My flabbers have been ghasted. As long as you have at least one working key, programming this will take you less than 5 minutes. We were able to remove the key from his broken fob and just attach it to the new one. Super simple and easy cheaper than the dealership quote.I've already sent my son the link to get them for his car because of how easy this one was. 10/10 recommendation from us!!

Almost a 5
The product description said I can take this to the hardware store or locksmith to get the keys cut. I took it to my neighborhood Ace hardware, only to find out they will only cut keys purchased in their store. So I had to go to the locksmith, who charges $30/key. I realize this is still better than purchasing a key from the car dealer, but it was a disappointment since I was expecting to pay about $1/key. So before purchasing, I recommend calling around your area on key-cutting costs. However, I do give the product a 5-star rating in every other way. As long as you have a working key, programming takes literally 5 seconds. Everything works fine, even the remote start. For this reason, I would recommend the product. I've only owned it for 2 days, though. So if any problems occur in the future, I will update my review.

BUY THEM!!
I purchase these, not realizing two came in a pack… Score. I took them to my local ace hardware store and paid $25 each to have them cut. YES they can cut them… NO, you don’t have to buy fobs from them a coworker who is also a mechanic program them for me for free. The local locksmith who was rude and condescending to my son when he called to get a quote for programming heard me on the other phone speaking to my coworker and rudely hung up on my son when I called him back he very condescendingly stated “you’ll be calling me back when those keys don’t work” NO SIR, I’m going to order another set from Amazon and go have them cut again. Thank you Amazon for saving me $200 my grand total was $75. The fobs are exact duplicates of my GMC they work perfectly. The only thing you’ll have to do is swap the battery out we are three months in and they still work.

Remote start does not work.
I ordered two key fobs and had them cut at a nearby locksmith, and that cost me $125 for both. I then programmed them using an existing key and they both will lock, unlock, sound the horn, and start the car with the key as expected. However, the remote start will not work for either key fob. All that happens is that the lights blink twice, but the car will not start. I believe the problem to be with these new fobs, because my existing key fob will remotely start the car just fine. I would consider replacing them, but I don't want to pay another cutting fee only to find out that the new ones don't work either.

Perfect just need a locksmith
Worked as you'd imagine. Just had to call a locksmith to cut the key which was super easy and painless..and around $60. A lot less money than the dealership replacing it.

Works great for a fraction of the price!
My OEM key had no buttons and the key snapped out of the housing. I preferred these to repair/replace my original key. If you have a punch set you can remove the roll pin as well as the blank key and insert the original key. However you will have to drill a new 1/16" hole through it to insert the roll pin back because the collar on the factory key is different than the replacement key. Easy enough to program the new key with a short video on YouTube. Overall in about 20 mins I had a new keyfob programmed and working for $25. I tried calling around to have the blank cut but they all wanted $60 each and up to do it. No thanks.
