Very cool and durable
Easy instructions. Very cool. Takes a while to cool due to my condo but very worth it. Does weight a lot so might need some help to build it. The noise in the other hand is very low.

quiet and efficient
I recently purchased this portable AC with a cooling capacity of 12,000 BTU, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with it. It is a great option for anyone in need of a portable air conditioner, as it is easy to install and operate, easy to move, and cools the room quickly and efficiently. One of the things I like about this portable AC unit is how easy it is to set up. It comes with a detailed user manual and all the necessary installation accessories. Within minutes, I had it up and running, and it was cooling my room almost instantly. It also has an easy-to-use panel that allows me to control the temperature and settings effortlessly. It is also very quiet. Even when it is running at full speed, I can barely hear it. This makes it great for use in my bedroom or when I am working from home.Another impressive feature of this portable air conditioner is how efficiently it cools large spaces. My room is quite large, but this unit has no trouble keeping it cool and comfortable even when the temperature is relatively high. Additionally, the wheels make it easy to move the AC from room to room.In conclusion, I highly recommend this portable AC to anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and efficient cooling solution. It has exceeded my expectations and has made my living space more comfortable during hot days.

Purchased about a year ago review
Everything works wonderful on this portable AC unit. I love the evaporative cooling where no water dumping is necessary, there are several features(although i only use the AC). Super convenient in the winter when I can close the window, fold everything up and push the AC unit into a closet. I have high ceilings in my bedroom so its a bit tougher to cool the whole room, but, after running for 30 mins it gets the job done. There's one big draw back on this unit, as well as one annoyance. The annoyance: there is no way to feel the settings buttons in the dark. I've found myself trying to adjust the temp or setting in a dark bedroom at night and realize, theres no way of knowing where the buttons are. Super annoying but not a deal breaker. The big issue that doesn't give this a 5 star is the peak amp draw it has when the compressor kicks on. The capacitor or starting circuit is drawing alot of current, my lights dim, and in a few occasions my breaker trips because the draw this AC unit has is so large. They need to re-engineer this unit with a soft start or something to stop that from happening.

Doesn't work very good
I set this thing up, put it on AC and down as low as it would get and piped it out a window. After about a half day it flooded my carpet with water and never turned off. The exhaust hose going to the window gets so hot the ac can't compensate. I measured the heat coming off the outside of that hose at 125 degrees. That's heat getting into your house. Also I've seen this same Ac on other web sites for a fraction of the price although they were branded differently. I would not recommend this product.

Good product
Got this to cool a grow room down .product works good but not good enough to keep the temperature below 75 constantly if temperatures are above 100 degrees out side

Great purchase
I bought this for my daughter and her husband, their apartment AC keeps breaking down. So I bought them this to help, and they love it! She said it doesn't take up much room, easy install, and works GREAT! So I am happy with this purchase because they are so happy!

Does not actually get down to 61
This is my third portable ac unit. I bought my first 4 years ago in June. It stopped cooling so I bought this as a replacement and hooked it up yesterday. I also have a smaller one for my daughter’s bedroom. I use this only in my bedroom and its size is well under the square foot requirements. It’s decent, but not great. We’ll see how it works.Pros: Not too loud, cools quickly, remote works well, shows ambient temperature when not running.Cons: Does not actually get down to 61, actually could not get below 63. Used two separate, accurate thermometers to check. Even this morning, after running all night, despite being set at 61, as soon as it turned off the unit showed the room temp was 63, which is the same temp my two room thermometers showed. I didn’t order a very highly rated portable ac unit because it said it only went down to 65. I ordered this one because it said it would go down to 61. I need a cold room. During the winter when my daughters aren’t here I have the heat set to turn on only when it drops below 54. When they are here and the furnace is set at a more reasonable temp for them, I close my room vent and use my portable ac. I’m a little concerned that the directions state that if the compressor gets below 30 degrees there could be an issue, since the unit, via the window hose, is connected to the outside and I usually use my portable ac unit all year round, even when it’s snowing. Also, it shuts off when it reaches the “set” temperature (again, it never actually got down to 61). The instructions state this, but I hadn’t realized that would happen when I ordered it and the Amazon description doesn’t state this. The sudden quiet woke me up, and I’m used to having the sound as “white noise” from my old one. So I turned on my air cleaner, but it’s a bit of an electric waste to need to have them both going. Also, I don’t know why all of these have the absolute crappiest hose connections. They’re all made to fall out. I saw a reviewer use metal HVAC tape on a different unit so I got some of that after the hose connection to the back of the unit spontaneously popped out during use. It wasn’t being moved or anything - it was just sitting there running and the hose popped off the back. So I taped the hose to the round thing that slides into the slot in the back and now it’s nice and secure and also taped the part of the hose that goes in the window. Finally, the window part does not fit standard double windows without being cut. From side to side it would “fit,” but not without a significant portion of the sliding part covering up the area where the hose connector goes. Fortunately since these all use the same crappy expandable hose design, I just left my old one in the window and changed out the hose.Might be a decent unit for you if you don’t mind it not getting down to 61 or shutting off. It also states it has a sleep option where the temperature raises 2 degrees each hour while sleeping, which I will never have a need to test out, so I can’t say how well that does or doesn’t work.
