Liked it so much bought 2
Update: This robust silicone case fits this Zonko tablet perfectly. Available on Amazon here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DKDVVMHJ. We'll never use the shoulder strap, but it's still a great price. Ships from China, which means that delivery will take extra time along with customs at LAX, but transit time was still within reason. We're tech professionals with low-tech needs. We're also tired of the need for multiple devices. This Zonko tablet is truly an excellent value and for us now combines both phone and mobile work into a single device. Eureka! One word of caution here before reading the below review. Buy the Asurion insurance. We couldn't get a response from Zonko with questions about this tablet prior to buying it. Some reviewers here have said that support has been good once there are issues, while others have had experiences similar to ours. If the tablet fails, the Asurion insurance will cover it. From our perspective, for this tablet that ended up costing $109.00 ($40 coupon) with the Amazon deal, we bought insurance for only one tablet and, at this price, a second tablet for insurance against total failure. This tablet is loaded with Android 14 and it should be good for a couple of years without the need to drop $500+ for a tablet that will be obsolete in only a few years. We don't know yet if it will upgrade to a newer version of Android, but the software upgrade option is available in the tablet's System menu. The tablet's screen is bright and crystal clear. The tablet is slim and lightweight. The tablet already comes with screen protector installed and no bubbles at all. Thank you, Zonko! The double SIM is fine when no extra storage is needed. With extra storage, it's a single SIM + memory card. The SIM holder is a little fiddly and it took a bit of extra patience to prevent the cards from slipping out of the carrier or breaking the SIM/Memory card carrier. Be careful with this. This tablet doesn't support e-SIM, but know which carriers offer international roaming and country specific SIMs, so we just store the physical SIMs and memory cards in a card case with many options of an RFID aluminum case here on Amazon. Makes us feel like Jason Bourne...lol.So far, this tablet works on Mint, Tello, Boost and US Mobile's Light Speed (T-Mobile). After checking all carriers, we found that only T-Mobile and its MVNO's will register its IMEI and acknowledge its compatibility with its network.HOWEVER, when we dropped in our SIM card from our mobile phone, which is on US Mobile's Warp Speed aka Verizon, the tablet worked just fine for text, talk and data. These tablets work only on 4G VoLTE for their talk capabilities, which explains the bumps from Verizon and ATT. It doesn't explain how they work just fine with our mobile phone's Verizon network SIM card. Whatever. To determine if a carrier supports this tablet, enter the tablet's IMEI number to check carrier network compatability. This is how we discovered that the tablets work on T-Mobile and all of its MVNO's, can't register these tablets with either Verizon or ATT.Soooo, somewhat perplexing with carrier drama in the U.S. We prefer the MVNO's because they have extra cheap plans, support tethering/hotspots and in some cases network switching. In the case of US Mobile, it supports all 3 major U.S. carriers along with international options - one stop shopping. And no, US Mobile didn't pay us for this review.Enabling the extra 6GB of memory was a snap, but assumes that a user hasn't maxed out storage with personal bloatware. This feature is found in the System storage menu. Add a micro SD card to store stuff and keep the extra on-board space for enhanced RAM. Just sayin...This Zonko tablet and similar other brand tablets are loaded with zero bloatware. Whoa. The only bloat are the Google services. Given that Google is the Android developer/owner, this is to be expected. Most of the Google services can be disabled to reduce the endless tracking of users. With NordVPN and Bitdefender loaded, we're pretty much invisible. How much tracking is there really? In one month alone, NordVPN prevented more than 17,000 (today more than 23,000) trackers from following our digital life. We don't visit questionable sites; our online life was just for work or ordering stuff from Amazon. Sharing follows the rule of 12, which means that each tracker will share our IP address with 12 other interested parties. Take that to 6 orders of 12, and your online data will have been shared more than 50 billion (you read right) times. All we can say is that everyone should use a VPN. Amazon has zero problems with our VPN, NordVPN. We thank Amazon for this. Some annoying default Google features that we either removed or replaced include Google Voice for search. Argh. In order to disable Goggle Voice search, you'll need to install a digital keyboard first to select it as the default input method in order to turn off Google voice search. We actually like Google's Gboard and it's available for Android 14 in the Google Play store. The Google launcher on the home screen is set and can't be moved or disabled. No problem, we loaded a different launcher, which got rid of the Google launcher. One of the top launchers, Nova, was just acquired by Branch and is now just a data mining portal into your digital life so, sadly, ix-nay. Check out other launchers like Lynx, Hyperion or OLauncher (stripped down and simple). What's more, a non-Google launcher can be fully customized to meet your needs and not hog space on your home screen. More at Tom's Guide (read the comments below the latest Tom's Guide launcher review). Uh-huh, Google. The extra hardware that comes with this tablet is just OK. With the price of this excellent tablet so low, this isn't really a nit.We don't use a mouse as it is; we use touch pads. The included keyboard is handy, but we prefer the folding full keyboards with the touch pad built in for our mobile keyboard, also available on Amazon. We just prefer Bluetooth devices as it is, like the keyboard and ear buds, to remove the wires. Nevertheless, this tablet has a plug-in for headphones for those who prefer it, which isn't available so much these days on mobile devices. The included touchscreen pen was a nice addition, but, again, we prefer the touchscreen pens with multiple tips like the Meko pens, also available on Amazon. Lastly, the folding case that Zonko provides really isn't great. We prefer to protect our tablets with a silicone case and found 1 here on Amazon that works as indicated in our update above. Instead we bought also bought a hard sided tablet carrying case on Amazon to store the tablet and all of its accessories, including keyboard, in one place. Our data, text and speech needs are low to zero. We don't play games or stream on any of our mobile devices. That means that we don't need talk/text/data plans from the major cell phone carriers of more than $10/month. We have a high resolution digital camera for photos and 55" desktop monitors for streaming anything. We don't need our mobile devices for these 'services'.In the past we've had name brand tablets from Samsung and Asus, among others, and have never needed customer support. We're also tired of the overwhelming amount of bloatware that comes with the name brand tablets along with the carrier locks. So, if you honestly don't need all the 'help' of bloatware, don't have gigantic online needs for your mobile devices, then this unbelievable value tablet from Zonko is for you. At this price, your wallet will thank you.

A solid tablet
I realized I was watching all my shows on the tiniest screen, my phone, and that an upgrade would be nice. I also occasionally wanted to be able to use this tablet for email and such. Sure, I could have gotten a name brand, but I trusted the reviews on this one. For the value, you can't beat it. It comes with the case and keyboard and mouse. I don't use the keyboard or mouse often, but they're nice to have. And I put some stickers on the case to jazz it up and make it more fun.It transferred my Android apps by plugging it into my Android phone easily. And it's fast enough and the picture quality is good enough for Netflix. It's not omg wow, but it feels like a great bang for my buck and meets my needs just find.I'd recommend this if you're looking for a generic Android tablet.

Very Helpful Upgrade to My Life
So far this tablet is working very well. I needed a new device because my old tablet's camera was awful (Brand: Sebbe). It did not take good pictures at all. Very blurry (speaking of, I had to use my old tablet to take the pics of this new tablet for his review. Sorry).I purchase a lot of things online and sometimes I have to do returns and such, and I need to submit pictures of the item and barcodes, and the old tablet I was using would not give me clear enough pictures to make my operations most smooth and functional.I was looking for a new tablet that had very good picture quality as well as video quality. Also, my Android cell phone is wearing out and about to break. It's on its way out. Until I can get a new, ideal phone I was also looking for a tablet that could double as a phone when I need it. I was able to take the SIM chip out of my phone and put it in this tablet. And it has been working even better than my phone! Very good phone calls! What I was prioritizing in looking for a budget-friendly tablet was large RAM and storage capacity, a good camera that also had good video quality, dual SIM capacity, Android 14, most economical, and if it would come with a protective case then that would be a nice perk to save me time in hunting around for additional mission critical components. This tablet has passed all those check marks. Everything is operating smoothly. So far so good in making my life run more efficiently.

Great product
After reading a few reviews I thought I would try this tablet. Set up was easy and quick. Lightweight yet sturdy. I'm very pleased with the memory and speed for what I use it for. I haven't used the wireless keyboard yet but it's nice to have. Definitely worth the price 😃
