A fun & Strategic Game
The rules/rulebook are pretty straight forward, and just 18 pages. Super easy to learn the rules, but the thinkiness comes into play with the places of power, rituals, and player boards. There are 4 player boards, that have variable player powers on the Moon side. The sun side of the boards are all the same. After a dozen plays, I can say that this game is a hidden gem.

Challenging and Interesting.
This game is challenging and interesting. There are combinations of tableau building and area control all of which combine to make every decision one with consequences for that turn and future turns. Honestly I was surprised by just how much happened in so few turns. It is not for everyone. The game does have a lot of tricky elements which could prove difficult to explain and will definitely frustrate some players, but it was a hit with my usual gaming group who are used to me bringing out medium to medium-heavy strategy games. They enjoy a good puzzle and engine builder game and this definitely played to that.

Forgettable
This is a worker-placement deck builder that is pretty forgettable. Doesn’t really bring anything fresh or unique outside of the cool artwork.

Amazing card driven engine builder.
This game was soooooo much better than I had expected it to be. I only played at the two player and solo count, but it was awesome. Very tight resource management without being frustrating. Fun card play combos and engine building. I think I liked that the solo was so smooth and easy to play and quick to learn. The game itself was simple to learn and teach. Best of all though, is the art, it’s just simply amazing. You need to add on some time to the game play because you’ll have to stop frequently to take in all the beautiful cards. Top marks for this game in my opinion. It won’t be leaving the collection any time soon.

Came without the HERB resources.

Lots of replayability
Deep strategy, fun twists on worker placement and tableau drafting. My only complaint is that combat in the game doesn't feel like you're actually fighting against the other players, as every player who has committed a specified amount of combat power/strength at a location receives rewards regardless of win/loss.I recommend 13+ because there is a LOT to track in this game, cards combo against other cards, other player's cards, resources, actions, etc and it can be easy to get lost/miss things you should have resolved during yours and other's turns.
