Bought this for my LG V20. Works with Google cardboard and all of the related apps, many which are free.
I also wear glasses, so on other headsets, I've purchased you either have to wear the glasses, which never fit, or have a slightly blurry picture. This pair actually has a diopter dial which lets you adjust for the correct focal length of your eyes. Great feature. Also has a slide for the camera, so you can use the augmented reality apps with it too. Nice touch.Pros:Fits my large phoneHas a touch button, which touches the screen with a padded pointer thing almost like a stylus.Has slot opening for the cameraHas focal adjustments for people with glassesCons:I had to take my phone out of its case to fit. Not the headsets fault, just to be noted. If you don't put the phone in the right way, it will touch the volume rockers and turn the volume up or down.I can't take away any stars for the cons on this one, as it’s mostly just the fault of having a huge phone.

broken and peeling off
thing came with a broken bracket (where you mount your phone) and with the top spongy protection peeling off. I ended up walking around my house with black flakes on my face half a day without knowing.

It is fun to use the vr to fly my Mavic Pro ...
It is fun to use the vr to fly my Mavic Pro drone. Having said that I wasn't expecting much from the lens at this price so I wasn't disappointed with the focus. It is easy to set the controls for focusing for focus but not very clear. Someone might say you can wear glasses with this head set but that would be a lie. I tried using some small reading glasses with the headset. I could not get them into the headset without physical pain. If you wear glasses I would not buy this unit thinking they will work with it comfortably. I was worried I was going to break my glasses when I tried it.

drifts left; instructions are lacking; comfortable; worth the price
Good quality for the low price.Very comfortable. Nice padding. Good adjustable straps. You might want to adjust the volume down a bit unless you are in a noisy environment. I didn't factor in how close it would be to my face, so it was plenty loud after turning down the volume.Instructions were a bit lacking. Since it didn't say, I assumed the lever top-center was to be pressed to release the phone. Yeah--no. That's what you should press if anything on the screen is asking you to press OK. To release the phone, you just pull the front away from your face (it is magnetic, so there is no latch to release). If you whip your head around, be careful that the magnet doesn't stop holding or the phone will fly across the room.It also appeared that that front piece kept separating, so I kept pushing it back flush. After a few hours, I realized (also not mentioned in the manual) that when you adjust focus, it pushes that section out--so it is SUPPOSED to be like that, and I shouldn't keep pushing it back flush. The next thing is on me for just not understanding. I mainly bought this so that I could see the "360 view" images that show up on Google Maps. Since those aren't in 3D, you don't need a VR headset. Just turn your phone sideways and then turn your body to the right or left. Lesson learned.Rather than send it back, I decided to see what was available in VR. I know that WWE had their two recent PPVs filmed in VR through NextVR, so I decided to check those out. Nope. Doesn't work with this headset/Google Cardboard. Only GearVR, GoogleDaydream, WindowsMixedReality, or PlaystationVR.I eventually found some videos that worked with VR, so I'll probably keep this around for when kids are visiting.Other than the instructions, here are a few nits:1. After about 5 minutes, the phone gets very hot, so you won't want to watch an entire musical concert or anything in one sitting.2. Every 10 seconds, the image will have drifted about 45 degrees to the left. So after 40 seconds it has shifted 180 degrees and you are now sitting backwards in your chair. In the future, I will re-locate to a swivel chair before starting videos! I was able to "recenter" by looking straight down, getting the menu, and selecting 'recenter", but that may have been a feature of the site I was on and not of the goggles or GoogleCardboard. But even after that, it still drifted left continuously. So yeah, definitely relocate to a swivel chair before starting! If you go in knowing all this, and it doesn't bother you--then you will be happy with this product. Easily four stars!

It's kinda made cheap
It's built cheap the adjustments don't work very well because the tracks they have guiding them skip and the lens don't adjust the same. The lens are not made of a good material and scratch very easy and they get a hazy look to them if you don't clean them often . But be gentsk as they will scratch .They aren't very expensive it still come on, that could at least function correctly. I can't focus mine very well because of the low quality parts in the adjustment

This headset is so much fun! I love how it comes with App recommendations to get you started. My phone feels secure when locked in place. It was so fun to see my daughter use them for the first time. And they made videos look so realistic my husband had to take them off because he got too motion sick. Thanks! Would recommend.

This is a scam, pay attention to negative reviews.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I even contacted the seller before purchasing. Seller stated that you do receive what is pictured. THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE LIE. Photo 1: It does not come in original packaging. Photo 2: cover is fixed, phone will not fit, and I can see how this could damage the phone as seen in other reviews. Photo 3: Padding is bare minimum and painful to wear. It hurts across your nose. Photo 4: Not as pictured--no sliding cover and NO cover at all. Photo 5: No adjustable focus. It also does not come with any instructions. It is much smaller than shown. It is absolutely nothing like the picture. Total scam, beware.
