Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good price and extremely easy to apply. Took me less than 5 minutes for all 18 stairs. Transparent and looks great. I can feel the difference and am no longer worried about slipping.

I picked up the Thunder Grip stair treads to add some safety to our outdoor steps, and they’ve been excellent so far. The grip is super strong — you can really feel the traction underfoot, and it definitely gives you more confidence walking up and down, especially when it’s wet. I got them mainly for my parents and our dog, and it’s made a noticeable difference in stability and safety.Installation was quick and easy. The adhesive is really solid, and once they’re down, they stay put — even through rain and temperature changes. These feel way more secure than rubber mats that tend to shift around. The glow-in-the-dark feature is a nice bonus too, especially at night when lighting is low around the steps.What I like most is how versatile they are. I’ve used them on the back deck, some wooden steps by the garage, and even a ramp we have. They stick well to every surface I’ve tried so far, and the grit holds up. If you’re looking for a way to boost safety around the house without much effort, these are a smart buy.

Bought for my slippery stairs we use to have to hold on to the side hand rail , not no more . This is one of the best things I did for safety in our home . We are in our seventies and you can’t be to careful. They are clear , easy to install, self adhesion ,and well worth the money.

I purchased these for our back deck just before winter in 2024. I like the tread design as they provide traction, but as we have dogs, it doesn't hurt their paws. To place these is pretty simple, peel the backing and adhere to the surface. It does recommend cleaning and i would highly advise anyone to do that ahead of time.To get the most from this, take the roll out of the package and let it lie in a sunny spot to "flatten" out. It makes it easier to peel and stick. My only complaint would be these are not very effective for older decks. If you have decks/wooden stairs with weathering and cracking you have two options. Either consider a different product or help to hold these down with either trim or roofing tacks. Mine began to peel on the windy side as our deck stairs are 8 years old. Despite a good cleaning and ample time to dry, the adhesion broke down due to cracks in the wood where debris, water, and wind could seep. I have modified them by using roofing tacks, but not everyone will have that preference.

These are really easy to install, just make sure you’ve cleaned the area you’re sticking them to. They’re hardly noticeable, and they’re on a very high traffic set of steps but haven’t shown any signs of wear. We placed them towards the edge of each step, and I can finally run up and down without falling. I thought they would look dirty by now, but they look the same as when we installed them. They’ve worked great for us!

I ordered the non-slip step treads and got them the next day. They were easy to install and will hopefully last a long time. The inclusion of the roller to press out the bubbles was very helpful. The treads nearly disappear on our steps and provide great traction.
