Dr. ComfortWilliam-X Double Depth Diabetic Shoes for Men-Therapeutic Shoe-Mens Walking Shoes with Gel Inserts

I live in Vermont and need more traction in a shoe than the sole on this provides. While the shoe itself fits great and is very comfortable, I have slipped several times and fallen once when wearing them. My feet just literally slid right from under me.

These shoes were perfect for my 80 year old father. He is diabetic. These shoes are comfortable, fit perfectly and are a quality shoe. He has no trouble putting on his shoes by himself. He tells everyone he knows how great his shoes are. They are definitely worth every cent they cost!

These shoes are very well built. The material and quality of construction are excellent. However..........they are the hardest and most difficult shoes to break in I have ever had since my leg injuries. After several months I can still only wear them for a short period of time. I do not say that this will be true for other folks but for me they just do not work well. Again, the build and quality are excellent, so is the fit, but I would not buy them again for my personal use.

We purchased these shoes, one because they had wider sizes and they had a Velcro closure. My father is 95 and wears a brace. We needed a shoe that would accommodate it and in a larger size than his actual shoe size. They fit perfectly but were obviously too large for his other foot. My father loved these shoes so much that we ordered another pair in the correct size to fit his other foot. We are left with one shoe from each order that we can’t use but it was so worth it. My father can’t see so it was getting hard for him to tie his shoes, so the Velcro closure was perfect for him.

This was an excellent shoe and a great fit - but you have to use the insert that is included. Of course most people would do that, but I tried them on first without using the insert and it was obvious that it was needed. I don't know about the spacers that were also included - I did not use them and am happy with the fit. I did not give this a 5 star because I have not worn the shoes all that much yet, and the strap closure is a bit stiff. I feel this will work its way out over time, and aside from that the shoes are great!

Extremely comfortable shoes for feet that swell. Very nice quality leather and padded lining. Gel insoles are very comfortable. The shoes are true to size. My left foot swells more than my right foot, but with these shoes it is easy to adjust the Velcro straps to accommodate the difference. They were secure and comfortable the first day I wore them. They also look good with dress slacks--not too dorky. Well worth the price.

Great shoe

Für meine empfindlichen Füße als Diabetiker sind diese Schuhe ideal und sehr gut zu tragen. Ich trage diese Schuhe mit einer orthopädischen Einlegesohle, die sich dem Innenschuh sehr gut anpasst. Der Klettverschluss macht das an- und ausziehen sehr einfach.
