My Krups grind and brew with large hopper broke after 12 years of use. Thinking I’d be getting an upgrade with the latest Krups model I was disappointed in the downgrade in quality of newer generations. Worse, like nearly all modern grind and brew coffee makers of any make, the hopper was limited to 1 pot worth of beans. And because the hopper is internal/under the lid, steam creates a mess of the coffee dust left behind in the hopper, requiring a daily ritual to clean and dry the hopper pieces. When this Krups model broke after only 1 year of use I set out to find a replacement that met all my needs.After searching Amazon and the internet at large, I could only find 3 brands that manufactured a grind and brew coffee maker with large hoppers. All but 1 were between $200 and $350 but with poor ratings and reviews. The Gavi grind and brew stood out as an affordable option that checked all the boxes. With no reviews to go on and a 4+ star rating, I gave this product a shot. Glad I did as this coffee maker has brewed very good coffee for over a month now. A big bonus vs. my old Krups machine: instead of using a large clockwork contraption over the basket that rotates from allowing coffee to flow in to closed position, this Gavi coffee maker uses a minimal open/close mechanism that has not clogged up once. This was a constant problem with the Krups machine requiring parts of it to be opened up for weekly clean out of built up coffee dust.This is a buy in my book.

Does what I need it to do. Hasn’t failed on me yet. Grinds up the beans and makes good coffee. Brews already grinded beans also. No complaints really.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it! It’s simple to use, brews fast and holds lot of water. It’s not loud at all nor heavy.

Great machine but to tall to fit on counter under cabinets

Very easy to use, low maintenance, just perfect in the morning when you don't want a lot of fuss. Good value, good product.

I did a thorough research about various coffee maker with grinder. Finally, I came across.Gevi 10 cup coffee maker with grinder. I am very happy with this purchase and I am I enjoy my coffee right after grounding the fresh beans. This coffee maker is mainly made of plastic. I wish.GEVI starts making stainless steel coffee maker with a grinder instead of a plastic. I love the coffee maker, but I don’t like the plastic material.

I have had this machine a little over a month. It is loud when it grinds and brews. Sounds kind of like a dying whale, but it makes great coffee and is easy to clean. Sturdy, well thought out. The only negative is the fill port is small and in the back of the machine. I am a klutz and always spill water when I fill it.

Coming from a disappointing Cuisinart with grind and brew. It had issues so I decided to gamble on this relatively unknown brand. Ordered this since it has everything I needed. Bean hopper, timer programming, adjustable grind, etc. well all of that works great, I was nervous about some people saying the grind quality was poor, but so far it's been highly consistent, at least on the finer end. The hopper is plenty big, the programming is easy, the strength control works (medium I find best).So far the only downside is the temperature. I won't call it warm, but it's just a little beyond warm, and the hot plate is insufficient. Often I'm microwaving the cup for 15 seconds to get it better. If they could just crank up the temp by 20% this machine would be a powerhouse. FYI, I'm not a burning hot coffee drinker, just hot is fine with me.So close.
