Monarque RFID Blocking Credit Card Sleeves, Set of 6 (Fine Art 3)

I read, on a low-rated review, that these were just paper and a scam. I had some earlier RFID sleeve versions that were lined with a metallic film and knew that they worked. They were however several years old and now falling apart.I ordered these and upon inspection found no metallic film. They did have an unusual finish for paper and cannot be torn. I took them out for testing. I tried three different cards and these three RFID card sleeves and confirmed that when the card was in the sleeve and put directly on the receiver the card could not be read. Upon removal of the card from the sleeve, each card functioned exactly as intended.They look great and although a bit thicker than the ‘originals’ I had, they fit nicely into the slots of my wallet. I strongly recommend for credit/debit card protection.

I love the painting design of these sleeves but am disappointed in the brightness or clarity of the printing. I have had several packs made like this, and now what I do is I wrap them in clear packing tape. The corners and seams never come apart and it brightens up the colors a bunch. Should have taken some before and after wrapping so you could see the difference. Next time.

I’m surprised that they prevent scanning because it seems like they are made of regular paper. I hope it works.
