I am picky when leaving reviews. I only leave reviews if I love or loathe a product. This one I freaking LOVE! My husband and I have bought SO many solar lights over the year and we have liked a few, but none have impressed us like these lanterns. They turn on before all of our other solar lights and they stay on all night long. Its absolutely amazing the longevity these lights have. Before the sun has even set, they come on and they are still lit when I'm kissing my husband goodbye for work at 6am. Plus the light itself is so charming! It flickers like a real flame. We hung ours on our fence line and our neighbors have asked where we got them because they love them too. If you do buy these lights you won't be sorry.If my review helps you at all, give it a like to let me (and Amazon know.) Or don't. I won't be mad. You do you. ;)

Highly recommend. We charged ours in the right sun for the first few days and we've been using them ever since between 7:30 pm and 1am with no problem around them getting dimmer. We use their handy clips to attach them to the bars under our umbrellas, and the light is just beautiful. We even took two of the clips (easily) off and they sit on each end table and act like candles. This is meant to be ambiant light, not lights for seeing better. They flicker like candles and create a great mood without the hassles of open flame candles. They are a warm orange yellow rather than a bright yellow which is even nicer. If you have them handing near a fire pit, they will turn on and off every 2 seconds as the flames flicker, so we just turn them off when our (small) propane fire pit is on. Enjoy! Worth it for the hassle free ambiance!

In September, we posted a three star review thinking that our Andefine lanterns had been weather damaged during a big storm, with some gusting winds. Four of them were blown off our top deck, and appeared broken, but we were able to put three of these back together. We thought that all seven remaining had been water damaged. But lo and behold, after a sunny day they all came back to life. And they have been through several rainstorms since, and are still going strong. They look lovely on our decks and put out a very mellow light. They might not survive the winter, but so far have tolerated some pretty intense weather. Since they are more sturdy than it previously appeared, I had to update my review.

I initially I was disappointed in the size but since we have used them for about four months I have come to love them. With two days of no sun they are still lighting up at night. Best solar lights I have ever seen. This morning they were on when I got up and all other solar lights at pool area area dead from no sun for days. If size had been that important to me I should have payed attention to the measurements before I ordered. The metal clips are very sturdy for attaching to things.

We have about two dozen of these hanging in our garden and on our deck. They emit a very pleasant low intensity orange light that appears to come from a flickering candle. The light is actually on the underside of the lid and is reflected down on the top of the fake candle. It works better that it might sound with the only possible issue being those lanterns hung high, because you can see the LED that emits the light. I had about 20 of these last year and broughts them in for the winter. This spring, four did not work so I replaced them. The new replacements are identical EXCEPT the company now prints their name in large white letters on the front. Frankly, that would have been a deal breaker from the start. I guess I will color over it with a Sharpie. That's an odd decision for a company to make. Imagine buying a lamp for your living room and having Ikea stamped in big white letters on it for all to see.

I hung these as soon as I got home from work. There was very little sun but these little cuties came on. They don't put out a lot of light but i was looking for more of a driveway definer and to keep drivers off my sewer pipe just below. I didn't expect them to be on when I walked out from the house this morning but they were. So far I'm loving them. The light is more of a yellow rather than a white, which I would have preferred but overall I'm loving them and thinking about buying a few more.

Arrived broken, candle inside case lying on its side. Returned for refund. More Chinese junk. Should have known better.UPDATE: I took the lantern apart and re-glued the candle to its base. There was hardly any old glue applied at the factory, hence the usual shoddy workmanship. But both units work, put out a decent, subtle light. So I won't be returning. Now to see what kind of longevity I get from these units. They are a little smaller than the photo indicates but adequate. I will upgrade to three stars for the quality control issue. The customer shouldn't have to repair a new product.

I really only needed one lantern to hang from a wrought iron hook, but after reading the reviews for these I decided to get four--one to use; three for spare. It is perfect. I tested all of them and they work perfectly. I love the little flicker of the lantern and the size. The brightness is just a little more than you would get from a real candle.
