PAC RP4-GM31 Radiopro4 Stereo Replacement Interface with Steering Wheel Controls for Select GM Vehicles with Canbus

Bought this to install an aftermarket radio in a 09 silverado 1500. I have installed a few radios in the past but had never attempted to integrate steering wheel controls. I didn't care to keep the onstar option, so the price savings pushed me to buy this model. Set up was super easy, turn the little dial to match what radio you will be interfacing with, and solder the connections to the aftermarket radio harness. The truck side of the install was plug and play. I will say the new door open chime is kind of an annoying tone, but it works. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with this model truck doing a radio replacement and trying to keep the steering wheel buttons!

This kit was purchased for our 2011 Chevy Impala no Bose system to install an aftermarket stereo. The instructions are a little unclear as they show 3 connectors in the diagrams but the kit only has two connectors. Two is all you need. If you know basic radio install, you should have no problem. The interface keeps the stock steering wheel controls as well as retain the door chimes and accessory power after the key is removed. When you install you teach the interface the buttons you have and it keeps them. This learning process was very easy and the interface works absolutely perfect. I was worried about spending a hundred dollars on a kit that i would have to solder/crimp to. My fears were for nothing as this kit works perfectly. It allows you to use the steering wheel controls with most new Stereos that have the steering wheel controls feature in their harness or plug. I highly recommend this interface if you are considering an upgrade from factory. Stereo, steering wheel controls and factory functions all work perfectly.

Used it for a 2012 GMC Sierra with Premium BOSE system. Apparently there are at least two different Bose systems. There may be a third bose system, but anyways This Interface works on All the different Bose systems. I had tried a Scosche brand interface for the same year and model truck , but it did not work with this particular Bose system. The steering wheel controls are already integrated and programmed, so all you have to do is the wire connections to the new radio you are using and you are done. Worked Perfectly.

Works good on 2012 gmc Sierra

Doesn’t retain OEM Back up camera. Also you lose usb-to-stereo functionality. Other than that it does what it’s supposed to.

Easy to install just wish the sounds where more like factory and the blinker sound is weird.

There is one solid orange wire not covered in the instructions. I finally capped it and have had no issues. OTHER then the orange mystery wire, instructions were easy once i quit over thinking it and just tied color to color to the radio harness.

Does what it is intended to do, but the chime sounds very goofy and high pitched. That's my only complaint, because it works well and was simple to install.

This harness worked great on my 2008 Sierra with Bose. Had a minor wiring issue and their customer service is the best I've ever talked to. Spent a half hour on the phone with me and wouldn't stop until we figured out what was going on.Would highly ecommend

The one that came through Amazon did not work. Luckily I have a friend that owns his own stereo install shop, and he was able to exchange the “dead” box I received for one he had on the shelf. Once all we’re working, the device does as it should, but strongly disappointed the one shipped to me was faulty.

Not good of manual wrong wire, reverse signal random lost. very dangerous. poor quality

Works flawlessly in my 07 impala just know that this doesn't let you keep your steering wheel controls as I thought it might have but hadn't used them anyway. Hooks up aftermarket radios very easily and is all color coded for an easy DIY install

Snapped right together and works perfectly. Easy hookup
