Very helpful for a beginner
As a beginner building a quadcopter can be fun but some aspects confusing. This book gives a very good step by step, from selecting equipment to first flight. Well worth a read.

Quick guide to gain basic technical familiarity
Got the book to understand from the ground up what was needed to build a drone. If you stick to the parts as a recipe it'll be straight forward. You can then start exploring further. Bit of repetition on the 450 from the 250 but just skip forward. It's a guide that anyone could write if they took the time but that's the point, very few people do and your left trying to learn it yourself through trial and error. Cheap little text and value for money.

What parts to buy and how they go together
I bought this Kindle book thinking that it would show me how to build a quadcopter, it does actually do that and is worth the money, however I assumed it was going to show me how to build a quadcopter from scratch, IE making the frame yourself etc. along with all the technical jarb but it just shows you what components to buy from the internet and how to put them together.I'm still glad I bought it as it explains how all the parts work

Perfect for those new to quads
Great book explaining everything you need to know to pick components and set up a 250 and 450 size quad. It also uses Hobbyking components, so really great for those who want to do this using cheap, but good quality stuff.

Very Basic and limited to specific components
The book tells you how to build 2 quadcopters using specific components. Only a small book and lots of it is duplicated. There is no info on programming flight controllers using a computer for example. Yet it tells you how to solder and how to charge a lipo. Too basic for anyone with previous electric flight experience and far too expensive.

Needs more detail
I felt that several topics lacked adequate information. Specifics about the legal implications of the use of a drone was limited. There was very little to indicate exactly how a standard transmitter and receiver were linked to the chosen flight stabilisation unit. Over all I feel this is a basic introduction but not suitable to actually build and fly your first quadcopter.
