Extremly User-Friendly w Great Output
I'm really impressed with this flashlight. It's super lightweight and feels great in hand thanks to its elegant satin matte finish. One of its standout features is the user-friendly interface: it's a breeze to get to the blinking modes, which are smartly separated and activated by a long press when the light is on, saving you from cycling through everyday brightness levels. The rear switch provides momentary on to your last-used setting. It's thoughtfully designed to be easily accessible but also guarded against accidental activation. The light casts a clean, non-defined bullseye beam with good peripheral spill, and the cool white tint is truly neutral, without any distracting blue hues. The "moonlight" mode is absolutely perfect for discreet illumination. As expected with high-power lights, the head does get warm on Turbo, but I'm happy to report that it holds Turbo output consistently without dimming.A few minor drawbacks: The rear clicker is noticeably loud. It would be more convenient if the side switch could also turn the light on, and I miss having a magnetic tailcap. Also, you can't directly jump to Turbo unless it was the last mode you used.

Goodbye to three streemlight stingers!
I have used streamlight stingers for about 15 years now. All the switches have been replaced multiple times because I use them for work where I use the momentary function around 300 to 600 times or more a night Maybe more Hard to believe but it's true. Anyways I've always liked the side switch because it is easiest on my hand and finger. That being said I was hesitant to buy a smaller tailswitch flashlight but I did anyways. This model did seem to fit a little small in my average hand and got a little uncomfortable towards the end of my night using my thumb but not a huge deal. The momentary switch function is not too hard or too easy to push just about perfect could be a little easier. I'm going to order the SK1 model which is 5mm wider and 7mm longer than this model so hopefully that will be a little more comfortable. I love the fact that it has a usb c charging port and it it very bright I use it on the 2nd brightness all night. The last two are so bright it's almost too much for me. I'm going to put all three of my streamlight stinger led flashlight on ebay and rid of them. No more proprietary charger and no more bulky streamlight that you have to cycle through the functions to use the brightness you want. These lights are the way to go.

My second Sofirn light
I bought a Sofirn sp35 back in 2021 and have loved it ever since. I keep it in my pocket when camping and walking the dog. Two weeks ago I lost it and went on Amazon to order another one and found the sp31v3 on sale and ordered it. Well today I found the old one under the couch so the new one got to meet his older cousin. The new sp31v3 seems to be brighter with a better hot spot for long distance but less run time (it has a smaller battery) which also makes it slimmer in your hand/pocket. Overall loving both and very happy with Sofirn lights. This model has dual switches which is nice and far less chance of accidentally activating it in my pocket. They make my old maglights seem like a joke. So much brighter!

Watch out over priced lights!
Great quality light. I found the machining and anodized finish up to par with much higher priced lights. Comes with lanyard, clip and 3000mah battery. The UI was simple and easy to use. Has memory mode. Mine is the sst40, you can also get the warmer 519A. This light has a tail switch and side switch. My only complaint is that i'd like to see the tail switch a little more robust. The rubber seemed a bit loose and too squishy. That is subjective though. I already have the q8plus which is an absolute beast! I will most definately be purchasing more from sofirn and am excited to see what they come up with next. I'd love to see some RGB aux with anduril 2.0..... hint...hint....

Fantastic edc light!
This is a fantastic edc light! I got the 519a version and the beam is warm and floody but still has a defined hotspot. The light functions flawlessly. The user interface is simple. The tailcap works great and has a good click. Easily operable in a high stress situation. I like that I can turn the light on with just a click and it returns to the last brightness setting I used. Fits the pocket really good. The clip is solid. This is a quality flashlight at a great price. I own several Sofirn lights and they are all high quality. Highly recommended.

Love Sofirn
Love all these Sofirn flashlights! I’ll need to review this model more in the next few weeks. I have this 4 stars due to having two buttons on this. Personal choice would be having just one button. Seems slightly brighter than the SR12 model. I definitely need to do a battery test on standby as well.

A great flashlight at a great price!
This is a really nice option for an EDC flashlight. While it's a bit on the bigger side of EDC lights, it includes dual switches and covers a wide range of brightness levels. The interface is a little skewed towards "tactical" use, since the side button from OFF should be able to trigger a low or moonlight mode, rather than doing nothing. The beam is a really nice mix of flood and throw for a single-light option, being versatile enough for just about any application. The battery and USB-C charge features are great, and I like the included clip and lanyard.
